Premium Foil Pack and Prize Pack Contents

Hi, everyone.

I've made this sticky post as a reference for people wondering what they can get in a Premium Foil Pack or a Prize Pack (if they happen to win one or more).

PREMIUM FOIL PACKS

A Premium Foil Pack contains 5 foil cards randomly selected from a pool consisting of:
- Foil Rare/Epic/Hero that are found in CotC booster packs.
- Foil Rare/Epic/Hero/Legendary that are found in DP booster packs.
- Foil Rare/Epic/Hero/Uncommon/Common that are found in SF booster packs.
- Foil Commons from CotC that do not appear anywhere else (see below for list)
- Foil Commons and Uncommons from DP that do not appear anywhere else (see below for list)

Here are the cards that only appear in Premium Foil Packs:

Birgitte Skullborn

Flare

Keldor

Knight of the Golden Dawn

Tiger Wulf

Foil Abilities (101):
Into the Forest

Smite

Lay Low

Mugged!

Pay Day

Procured and Restored

Enrage

Banish

Foil Items (26):
Net Trap

Ascendant of the Horde

Ascendant of the Hero

PRIZE PACKS

A Prize Pack contains 2 cards randomly selected from all cards in the game that are not available for sale in booster packs. This pool currently consists of:
- the exclusive foils from the CotC physical preorder
- exclusive foils from the DP physical preorder
- exclusive foils and alt-arts from the Crystals Anthology decks.
As more exclusive cards are created, they will also be added to this pool.

If a card is not listed above as part of the Prize Pack pool, it can either be found in CotC, DP, SF, LL, CP and/or Premium Foil packs.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What are valid choices for the Pick-A-Card which can sometimes be bought at the online store?

A: You can choose cards from those listed above in the Premium Foil Pack pool (and non-foil version of those cards). We do not sell cards that are in Prize Packs, since those were sold exclusively as part of other promotions.

Q: Can I get Shattered Fates foils in Premium Foil Packs?

A: Yes. We recently updated them to include Shattered Fates foils, due to popular demand and because we now have all the art for the set.

Q: I won a Pick-A-Card prize in a tournament or as a reward for PFG. Can I choose from cards in the Prize Packs?

A: Yes. Since this is not a sale but a prize or discretionary reward, you can choose whatever you want. You earned it!

Q: Can I buy my way into the PFG to then get an opportunity to get this special type of Pick-A-Card?

A: No, but you can apply and see if you get accepted. Send a Private Message to Starval and Gondorian on this forum.

Thanks for the useful info!
Any chance the foils and alt. arts from the Crystals Anthology decks can be removed from the prize packs? It's very frustrating to bust your butt for some exclusive foils only to find that you got foil Crippling Blow

and foil Blood Frenzy

(which can be consistently bought).

You can also get prize pack foils from your daily pick if you are lucky enough

Due to popular demand, and because we now have artwork for the whole of Shattered Fates, you can now find SF foils in the Premium Foil Packs. The five cards you get are randomly chosen from the entire Premium Foil Pack pool specified in the first post in this thread.

I never found a foil card from SF in Premium Foil Packs. Is this right?

Will the "daily reward card" follow the same logic and also include Shattered Fates cards in the next update?

+ has the flavor text been decided on for the SF cards yet?

oh WOW, i just went and bought a pack to take a screen shot and show SF cards are in there and i got freakin 4 of them in a pack, talk about lucky
