Have you tried going to here: /Users/USER/Library/Application Support/com.wulven.shadoweralauncher

Then right-click Open on Shadow Era.app?

I think Yosemite is picky about running non-signed apps (ones not from App Store). The SE Launcher is trying to just invoke the SE app, which probably won't run without explicit authorisation (like Open via right-click menu).

Once you've done it the first time, it should always work after that.

Oh, that's good to hear. I'm not on Yosemite myself yet, so didn't know for sure!

Quite a lot changed in 2.9050, but it was chiefly the update to Unity 5.0. That may well be incompatible with your machine. How old is your Mac and what's the graphics card?

It turned out it was a problem with Mac caching the code signing and not refreshing when a file is overwritten, even if the overwritten file is properly signed. We redesigned the launcher to first delete the old game file instead of overwriting, and it seems to have fixed this problem, at least for me...

Your launcher should auto-update itself next time you run it, and then download the updated game. If there's any problems, you can also download the new launcher version at http://cdn.shadowera.com/ShadowEra.pkg
