In my opinion postcards like these should be used to promote the game and its heroes. The game needs to stand out and draw attention to itself so I imagine these cards being from the heroes themselves asking the spectator to pick them as their next Shadow Era hero.
This might be a good idea because the vast majority of the people entering these shops and conferences havn't heard of SE so any inside jokes, puns or relations are complety wasted on these folks.
Anyway here goes a few examples. Bet you can think of many more
