This is arebelspy SE Commentary #3 - Think Long Term

This video was over the YouTube 15 minute limit, so it's split into two parts

In this video, I play a game of Majiya vs. Amber and discuss why long-term thinking is important.

Were did your avatar came from? Looks like a mage from one of the Final Fantasy games for Nintendo.

In the end of the 2nd part you cut your last sentence, "and I'll catch...".

I can't appreciate Majiya videos very much, watching you buy 2.5 cards per turn while your opponent have only 1, I kinda feel his pain, but it's his fault for running a 43cards amber in the quick matches.

I use portal in GBone and Elad, but Majiya was a good way to showcase it.

Well I do have the Boris (commentary #1) up, and while commentary 3 (uploading now) is Majiya also, commentary 4 (recorded but not encoded) isn't. I'll make sure to do some non-Majina commentaries for sure.

You're right though, her card advantage is pretty ridiculous. Doesn't mean she doesn't make for some fun games to watch.

As long as you play other heroes as well, I'm okay with someone playing some Majiya. Boycotting something cause it's too good is just as silly as only playing that, IMO.

You have some nice insights into high caliber strategy. I'd like to see a replay of a game that you lose, with reasoning on why you took the loss. It might be beneficial. Thanks brotha.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll definitely do that. The only game I've lost in the last 30 I talked about in commentary 3 - basically I played shrieks too early, limiting my resource amount, and lost a close one where I got him to 2 life, but lost. I'd cast that if I hadn't already talked about it in this commentary

(I also had one draw due to a sync error vs zaladar)

My commentary 4 (uploading now) I was thinking I was going to lose, and planned on casting it as a loss, but it didn't turn out that way, for some reasons I'll discuss in the video.

I do play a variety of heroes though, so expect to see some losses with some of the randoms. :D

EDIT: It may be commentary 5 I was going to lose? Actually maybe both 4 and 5. Idk, I've done a lot of commentaries lately.

Nah, just this time, I really felt his pain for not getting any blood frenzies all the game, but like I said it was his fault for running a 43 cards deck :P

I don't boycott Majiya, I usually play her when I'm bored of other heroes. I was afraid to say that I only watch the videos because of your sexy voice then I though that would be better to guff you instead.

That does suck. I run 40 card decks solely to get ready for the switch over (though I'm in the minority camp that would prefer 30 card minimum over 40), and it can be really, really painful when you don't get one of your Blood Frenzys all game.

Sometimes you just lose cause of luck. Not much you can do about those circumstances.

I try to point out the decisions that you CAN make to help make up for bad luck and win anyways. ;)

Just watched this one. Anyways, you won't "get banned from the forum for not phonetically reading out every single card in the game". What makes you think I'd do that? It's not like I nonchalantly announce banning of accounts for the most littlest of things to imaginable.
