Card Bug List - 3.15

Hi all,

v3.15, which is now out on PC, Mac, Android and iOS, includes fixes for almost all known reproduceable card bugs in previous versions, but there are most likely bugs lurking there, waiting to be discovered and reported by our very helpful community.

That's where you come in! Please report card bugs that you find in 3.15 on this thread, ideally with a reference to a match that took place (names of both players) and any details that might be relevant to the bug happening.

If you aren't sure something is a card behaviour bug, post it in its own thread for discussion first. If you are not using 3.15 please see other bug threads for whether your bug has already been found and fixed.

Please note: If you have experienced a bug that isn't related to a card or group of cards behaving incorrectly, it's best to put that in its own thread. I'm tracking incorrect card behaviour here and then fixing accordingly.

KNOWN REPORTED CARD BUGS IN 3.15

SE-1037 - Thoughtful Investment is not updating available resources immediately after triggering. (Fixed in 3.16.)

SE-1038 - Lythian Shackles is destroyed too soon when affected by Morphic Armor. (Fixed in 3.16.)

SE-1039 - Regeneration can't be summoned if hero has full health. (Fixed in 3.16.)

SE-1041 - Wulven Savage is sometimes not reducing all combat damage to 0. (Fixed in 3.16.)

SE-1042 - Twisted Familiar is damaging an ally in the graveyard and that ally stays damaged. (Fixed in 3.16.)

SE-971 - Bazaar draws cards before effects triggered by Crescendo destruction have finished. (Requires major overhaul of turn-ending and turn-starting code, so deferred for now.)

SE-998 - Eternal Troll killed at the end of turn sometimes behaves as though killed at start of the next. (See above.)

SE-1020 - Hit List can be activated when an opposing Twilight died at the end of opponent's turn and was revived by Twilight Eidolon. (See above.)

Do you have an example game to show this? Please be aware that you have to summon a support ability. It doesn't apply for other types of ability cards and it doesn't cover activating an ability either.

I use Coercion on opponent Wildfang wulven renegade. While he's on my side and I still have 2 other allies in my board, he still have Ambush in him. He should have lost it since I control 2 non wulven ally

Elicit information does not draw any card when opposite player discards cards (android)

Not a bug. Wulven renegade has ambush while he is the only WULVEN ally you control. Because your other allies weren't wulven, that means renegade can have ambush.

We're the discarded cards from opponents hand? Because elicits information does not draw from cards discarded from the deck.

when i play mark of fear on an enemy radiant wisp with 3 hp it doesnt die and stays with 1 hp. should my attachment be counted before enemy ability and so it should have 0 hp and then die before its ability can have effect and give it 1 hp from the attachment?

another bug i found. when i play vermin to remove my enemys survivalist and my vermin is killed by his death trap he still draws a card. but his attachment was removed before vermin died so he should not have drawn a card.

There's no timing involved here. All ongoing modifiers in play at one time are simply used as part of the calculation for current value. So, at the exact point the attachment goes on, it has -3HP and +1HP, causing -2HP overall.

I don't actually consider that a bug, since all three events are happening at the same time, when Vermin is summoned: Death Trap is destroyed, Vermin is killed, Survivalist is destroyed. Unfortunately, the game can't animate them all at the same time, and it sounds like it is showing the attachment removal before putting Vermin in the graveyard. If you have a replay I can watch, I'll take a closer look...

i destroyed thriss crucible with ter adun and it just went to the graveyard.. no 2/4 attacking ( it would be 4/4 and i had a location in hand to use it) My match versus marryo sylyva..

I watched the match. That was the Thriss Crucible that the Transmogrification Curse was played on. When that happened it just becomes a plain old artifact and loses its ability to become an ally again, I believe.

We should really wipe out the text with some kind of mask (like when an ability is exhausted) to help you spot stuff like this. It is on the nice-to-have list...
