I was playing against a Zaladar deck and my opponent managed to Mind Control two of my Aldon's in two consecutive turns. Since the card is unique is that suppose to happen? Also, I managed to Retreat one of them and the card went into my opponents hand? In Shadow Era control equals ownership? If someone could clarify this for me I'd be grateful.

This has happened to me too on both accounts.
Hmm, I'm going to bring a different perspective. With hero equipments, they have class restrictions but once a card is stolen, the restrictions are lifted.
Or it could be a bug and this wasn't an intended effect. Guess we'll just have to wait until it's addressed officially.
Yeah, that also happened to me a few matches later after my post. One of my bows was stolen and used...by Zaladar. Makes no sense.
The funny thing is when I played Zaladar I always discarded the armours and weapons I stole from my opponents, because, well, I thought I couldn't use them since they belong to a different class. Weird.. :|
Yeah, currently, stolen cards being useable regardless of class and faction are intended. With the amount of complaints people are writing home about, we'll see. I think it's fine as-is and hopefully it stays that way.
I think stolen card should be used by Elemental hero, that's the point of stolen it.
And 'retreat' should not bring it back on your hand, since he has controlled your ally's mind already.
I want to know you guys opinion about the following:
In the situation above, does 2 Aldons increase each other attack power?
Have they got 2 base atk + 1 atk (self effect) and also +1 atk (another aldon effect), or not? (on offense turn)
I think the effect should be limit to +1 atk only, even when 2 aldons are no board.
Since the card is unique I think one of them should go to the owner's graveyard.

@Hellalus In v1.24, yes, two Mind Control-led Aldons like that would buff each other up.
In 1.24 the words "control" and "own" mean the same thing.
In 1.25 beta "own" has changed to refer to the person who's deck it originated in.
Aldon's vs Mind Control is a bug that shouldn't work. Just like the game prevents you from playing an Aldon while one is already on the table, you shouldn't be able to Mind Control an Aldon while you already have one. Aldons stacking is nonsensical since buffs/debuffs/DoTs/HoTs from the same source don't stack in SE. You can't have multiple Shard Of Power in play, you can't have multiple War Banners in play, you can't poison the same target twice, you can't burn the same target twice. To me this seems like a bug that sould probably get patched but isn't a rules parsing error.
With owner differentiated from controller, the arguement would be, the player that played Aldon shouldn't be able to play another Aldon if theirs got Mind Control-led. Under Mind Control, the controller didn't play or own Aldon, this is still the original player's.
Regarding stacking, this is only applicable to cards that get attached, like Extra Sharp, Engulfing Flames, etc. For example, Sparks' ability stacking is fine.
What needs to happen first is we need a clearer definition of what "Unique" is. Maybe I forget but only a very brief and simple definition was given; it's not clear just exactly how cards with Unique was meant to work.
I think stolen cards should be able to be used by the elemental heros.
The restriction should be thought of as restrictions in the deck. Not restrictions in who can equip.
Just like how shadow decks can't have human allys in the deck (deck restriction), but when human allies are stolen by elemental heros, they can still be used.
So I think it should be fine as is and its working as intended in terms of equipment.
On the topic of the unique problem, it'll be up to the developer's decision. IMO just let 1 effect of the same name be active. Meaning 2 Aldon on same side, but only buffing +1 to attack, not +2.
