I'm back now....but I'm now slightly annoyed. Last info I had I was in a 'save' challenge versus Jets...and now I'm facing a bad matchup challenge. Seems I got screwed.

No, the hour-pause rule is purely there to give the defeated player a chance to be saved; it doesn't apply here.

Therefore, Bayfighter's challenge to SamuelJ is valid.

Well, the way I read the ongoing saga there was some debate there, which robbed me of a chance to challenge. Still, if I have no option, then I'll pm my opponent.

I have to give kudos to TJ SamJ for bringing a completely different deck build to this match, the first match was nip and tuck all the way. It took guts!

Don't know how many out there follow cycling, but a german rider (Jens Voight) was quoted this week by saying, "If you don't attack, you don't win!". SamJ's deck reminded me of that sentiment!

It was a calculated risk since a typical build would have been crushed by Zhanna, unless it suffers from bad draw. And it was actually his first time to play with such a build, having only a few minutes to learn it.

+1 to TJ SamJ's creative deckbuilding. Banebow vs Zhanna is probably BB's worst matchup, so you made due with what you could and went down fighting.

That was my point behind the cyclist quote, nothing ventured nothing gained! He did a great job at making lemons into lemonade, game one was a close one indeed.

Questions about the Team-Up mechanic:

Is the person who is being double teamed against deck-locked for both matches?
Is this two bo3 matches or 1-2 bo1 match(es)?
What is the time requirement to declare a defensive Team-Up? (A Team-up from the defending side who has been challenged by a Team-Up) ie: Must be declared within 24 hours of original Team-Up challenge?
