i will say this. ancient of aldmor, really? you took the best thing about it, that your opponent had to really think about whether using his hero ability was worth it or not. finally a card that somewhat evens the field on hero ability disparity and you... turn it around on your own hero. whatever.

I read the messages above and do see what you guys were worried about. Gravemonger, into the forest, and crypt do make a pretty strong argument. However, because some 4 card combo exists that means game over.. Is that really a good reason to nerf the card? I'd argue anytime you put together a 4 card combo it should mean game over or at the very least it should be close to gg bro. This particular 4 card combo is defeated by paying 0 and putting out a location... Disabling the Gravemonger...exiling any of the cards... Using item destruction on the crypt....I can go on. Seems a little much to destroy a really well designed card.

You mean to tell me there are opponets out there that can't deal with a 4 card combo that consists of an item, a creature, a location, and an Attatchment? WHAT EXACTLY ARE THEY PUTTING INTO THEIR DECKS?!? Well at least I now have something worthy of signaturing
yes and thats all warped desert was, was fun. wasnt competitive at all, just a fun card. hard to play and win with the opposing ability. i find that one so sadly funny. the opposing side is way more powerful than the controller's side and the controller's side gets nerfed.
See that's the part that kills me the most on it. It was balanced. For effort I can get one card I want a turn. Without effort, just a minor cost you could get two cards every other turn. The kicker part is now they can draw from their deck and mine, but I can only get from them? That's fair...Quote:

sabreen should have a stat reduction as well. racksul change was good because some combos were npe. now it cant be used for a specific strategy but more like a cheap draw if you have a deck with many exiles. i think the enemy ability should be nerfed too or no one will play it. the buff to garina may make it more playable because early fatties was one of the main problems with the card. even with the enemy ability they might have difficulties dealing with many fatties early in the game.
all the people who keep crying over changes without bringing anything useful to the discussion should just quit and leave. im sure this community is better without theyre toxic attitude and no help posts. bye felicia.
Wow, it took you 3 years to fix cards like Embers or Bloodfang... I can't imagine how long we will have to wait for a decent Lost Lands set, since most of upcoming changes make no sense at all.

Bloodfang - good. Opens up future design space for him (though as of today Riphide is probably still the best synergy for his ability)
Embers of the Just - I agree with removing the recursion; the entire deck will no longer be build around 1 card. Let's test but I think you could even add +1 fire damage (as well as the ablaze effect and card draw) when u attach it to an ally.

Sabreen - Ok
Towering Brute - Don't really have an opinion, ok I guess.
Eternal Troll - I'd rather it was left as it was.
Aldmor Sentry - Can u leave in the 'defender'?
Ancient of Aldmor - I didn't see this coming, I was quite happy with him as he was to be honest. I had a really good game where my opponent had 2 of these out and I let my SE build up from 5 to 9 SE and crippled them both. I guess we'll see.
Groundshift - Again didn't see the need, but maybe if u guys release some more overstated allies with downside (eg brutal Minotaur) then there could be stuff for players to mess around with.
Shadow Cannon - welcome.
Racksul: Warped Desert - I get why u did it. Stuff like Gwen being able to have 8 ITF can potentially break things so probably right to shut it down now even if it means there was some 'collateral damage' to other non-broken strategies.
Other locations - some steps in the right direction but I think there is probably more to do.

I agree with most nerfs/buffs. Really I cannot understand the nerf to groundshift. Who will play a card that evens the field and damages your hero ? I agree that sysiphos won a world championship with a card that does the same and damages both... I can see an use very limited now.
