BDK vs Caitlyn0
2 mages, 3 games. The player who went first won in all 3 games which showed that the 2 players managed to retain their first turn advantage well. Unfortunately for BDK the challenger, he went 2nd for the 3rd game.
The 2 games which Cait won showed how good a T2 Carniboar can be. In both games that she won, she has aT2 Carniboar and that put tremendous pressure on BDK. To me, that T2 Carniboar really helped Cait consolidate the board. After she consolidate the board, BDK really can only clear the board with supernova. And in a battle of mages, the person who supernova first tend to lose.

BDK siege on A1
Dark Riding Hood hated the rain.
It was a light drizzle, the kind that bounced off her clothes and made it damp but not wet. She held up her hood to ward off the wind. It's a terrible night to be doing her prowling duties. Her pet wolf refused to come out into the rain, even though she tried coaxing, rationalizing, arguing, threatening, and even seducing the wolf.
"Follow you into the rain? You crazy... I will consider it only if you showed me your true face... You are always covered in the hood, come on, show your face like Apsara!"
Obviously she refused. So she had to settle for the next best option for her prowling hound. The little pig.
"Damn that lecherous wolf...". She kicked her prowling partner, Gravebone hard in the knee. One of the benefits of having an undead partner is that she can abused them without them crying in pain.
The Carniboar sniffed the air and oinked. Little dark's mood brighten considerably, since she has something to do now. Unleashing the Carniboar, it moved towards the intruder.
BDK and Eladwen was caught off guard, when the Carniboar charged into their ranks, snapping its jaws at the soldiers. Puwen tried to avoid the huge jaws, but was pinned back by Thaddeus arcane blast and was tragically swallowed by Carniboar. It seemed to grow bigger and more blood thirsty after its first kill.
The drizzle became heavier. A glow of white light appeared above Thaddeus and the falling rain transformed into a huge icicle, crushing the deathmage. Gravebone glanced at the shattered ice, chanted and brought Thaddeus back to life. He waved his hand, and a blazing behemoth figure stepped out of the shimmering portal.
BDK has managed to hold off the ravaging Carniboar with his taichi fists, preventing it from further chomping down the other human soldiers. But Eladwen knew that she had to deal with Plasma Behemoth before it wrecked havoc on the battle field with his plasma bolts. She concentrated on a spot in front of Thaddeus and behind Cariboar. Spots of arcane energy coagulated at the spot, and a bright spark formed and wavered in the air.
The rain had turned into a torrential downpour. The raindrops hissed into steam when they touched the spark. The spark sunk into itself... And it suddenly expanded! The supernova burst forth in a brilliant light. The light enveloped the Carniboar, Thaddeus and Plasma Behemoth.... And all that were left of them were a ball of stream.
Eladwen and Gravebone were caught in the blast but survived. Gravebone pointed his bony finger right at Eladwen. A streak of lightning flashed across the sky, masking the shimmering blue light of the portal that appeared beside Eladwen. The accompanying thunder clap was mixed with the roar of Brutal Minotaur which dashed out of the portal and swung the hammer into Eladwen mid-section. Ever The Chivalry, BDK flung himself in front of Eladwen and used his body to block the full blow. BDK flew into the air, and landed in a pool of mud, obviously knocked out cold. Not willing to risk her liege life, Eladwn darted to him, scooped him into her arms, and escaped through another portal.
By then, Little dark was all drenched and soaked through, the cloak hugging the curves of her lithe figure.
Little dark still hate the rain.
But she love the lightning and thunder.
[Note: Caitlyn0 Gravebone deck is called Lightning and Thunder]
