Ebenezer v 74923
Down to the last turn :)
Unfortunately didn't get most of them recorded during my downtime (real life ate too much), but I am back to doing these, I have a handful on my backup drive and am getting the few I can in recent history - episodes will be up Wed/Fri this week, and should be building up more of a backlog soon :) - so keep them coming.
Mananexus (Victor) vs. Norokuro (Moonstalker)
End of the game is just hilarious. Got pretty lucky there. Enjoy!
Viable (elementalis) vs etc Achi113s (gravebone)
Still doing these, hopefully some other youtubers jump on board too (since multiple viewpoints are always a good thing)
Latest one is live btw:

i dont have a youtube account but i want say that i love your vids so keep em up :)
@Alzorath I PM'd you and ik you're probably busy but I figured id ask somewhere im sure you'd see (cause I never notice when I have PMs) so im just wondering what program you use to record the games cause im looking to start a channel.
Heh, yea, lately I only get the chance to hop on here once or twice a week at the moment, but that will increase again after the holidays probably :) - replied to your PM with a few different pieces of software I use for recording... don't know your budget, but I can recommend things for editing, audio, etc. as well if you need it.
Thanks for the support :)
Hi Alzorath, there's an eccentric Eladwen I was trying to polish with which I won an interesting match against a Cutlass Serena. It's the LAST match in my list so I won't play again with that account until you tell me if you're interested in recording it or not.
The game is AA1 Alfa666 vs sunset001
it was played more than 2 weeks ago (sorry i don't have a more precise date to that).
I admit the luck was in my favor and my opponent's skill did deserve a better showcase, but still there was some interesting interaction and the use of unused cards for an Eladwen as Nutrturing Spring, Platinum Chainmail and The Road Less Traveled. No rush cards and no burn at all!
Please let me know ASAP when I can have a QM again!
recorded, so it's safe to play again... I'll take a look at the footage over the next few days to see if I can make it into an entertaining commentary :)
Too many pages on this thread, not reading it all....but has anyone mentioned me?? ALL my matches are of epic proportions. Of the highest magnitude.
Play my Millstalker, anyone?
You're welcome to suggest them, but I won't be featuring any moonstaller decks on my channel. It's not entertaining the viewers. (I won't feature Stalladars or Stalla Mist decks either... as they lack interactivity and are boring to watch as well). Unorthadox stall, I do sometimes allow if it can be made entertaining.
Bp maxi1230 vs BP Chamthabo
The first game. Epic!
EX Ganjamus vs Sugheaven
It was fat Praxix vs an even fatter Vess. It looked like a one-sided match at first but he made a big comeback towards the end. I won... barely.
me and my friend played another game.
The last one, Maglotroth vs Acid Assasin ( Bloodfang vs Skervox)
He made a tableflipping comeback and im still mad about it X'). Worth the watch :)
Still looking for more... I have a few stored away for a rainy day, but definitely like options to cover :) (if you haven't seen yours yet, don't fret, I still have several to go through lol... just don't want too many matches with similar intrigue close together... ie "close wins"/"back and forth"/"interesting kills"/etc. )
Also don't be afraid to submit meltdown matches... they're just as eligible - despite no one actually suggesting any of them yet ;)
I just finished a great one .. Alien Fungus v Liathis My very big Loest homunculus deck v Jericho attachment deck .. down 2 health points to 21
Had to drastically switch tactics and it wasn't won with fireballs or lightning... They did help
Griffoneye vs KA Stonecold. So many board clears on both sides just when it looks like someone was in control they lost it again. Also 2 heroes that aren't typically able to regain control once they loose it.
My girlfriend just lost an amazing game that saw both players come back from the dead
JianSu ( Zalandar ... Not discard ) V Mongo0 ( Aramia 50+ deck )
Is it there a possibility to watch some matches? I just started the game and it would be great lesson to learn from the best
Yea, I have a few regular series that cover the game on my channel ( http://www.youtube.com/alzorath ) - FDL and GnEric also have channels with fairly current content as well ( http://www.youtube.com/FDLtelevision & http://www.youtube.com/EricsCrusade respectively )
You'll see games from this thread pop up regularly on my "Shadow Era Trials" series (GnEric does a similar series called "Community Classics" that has been running significantly longer).
For deck discussion, you'll want to check out either FDL's channel or my Shadow Era Decks Playlist.
For meltdown, I've been running my meltdown series since the play mode launched (up to around 90 episodes now), and a newcomer "greasypig" has a thread covering his recent entry into the meltdown video content creation. Not many people cover the mode unfortunately.
Occultformula vs bonripsforjesus
A really nice comback win all thanks to oliver right at the end.
TJ Slaggathor(Banebow) vs NapoleonDynamite(Aramia)
Made a few misplays but was able to win the game with a couple of cards that you dont see too often
If you've never seen a Berserker's Edge hit 29 damage (and at one point have 18 durability), check out Greasypig vs. Sama4770.
Just played it, I'll probably put a video of it up next week.
yeah I imagined that's what was being described there...
epic games are games in which something truly impressive happens, or there are many turn-arounds. They're games where the players can both leave with respect for one-another and some appreciation for how the game played out. Blowouts are rarely epic. Maybe if you got some ridiculous lucky combo (like Aramia pulling 4 buccaneers with 2 glimmer of hopes), it would be worth watching, just to see the ridiculousness.
Games where one person is clearly capable of winning, but decides to stall instead are not epic...they're not impressive to watch either. Many of us have been in situations where we were winning by a lot and could waste turns or cards doing nonsense. Unless you're playing against a friend who doesn't mind - this is not cute or fun. It's just poor sportsmanship - in football they call it excessive celebration.
I've never gone a turn without delivering the kill shot if capable but I like to use up whatever resources I have remaining just before I deliver the kill shot. Is that bad? Personally, I don't think so. Usually my opponent has left before I've even had a chance to hit anyway.
What I don't like is when someone casts then cancels a targetable ability 20 times, flashing it in your face before actually using it. That's annoying.
I play extra cards when it reduces the number of actions required for a kill. Say Supernova instead of attacking with 2 or 3 allies.
If opponent curses me out for using Millstalker, I like to let them slowly bleed out after they run out of cards (even if I can cycle AHiL). No quick deaths for sh*t-talkers. But most already leave by that time...but not without a final obscene comment towards me :)
Thug-life.
A1 Kip Thorp (Serena Thoughtripper) Vs. Me, Ra Horakhty (Jericho Spellbane)
Nice back and forth game of control. Enjoy.
Still looking for more games :) (some I have sadly missed due to timing or people playing a lot of games lol... but down to just a handful left on the hdd)
BP Maxi1230 vs ETC BobRoss
Nice back and forth, shows Ythan's potential, and it's me beating BP Maxi1230 with his own deck:). Oh woops just watched the replay...he dropped out sometime in there, so nevermind.
Occultformula vs Tyriec55.
My first perfect shutout. Even tough I used Ythan, I never healed with soul seeker. And it was my 2nd time playing a hunter deck. I decided to try it after seeing some YouTube gameplay of ythan.
