retreat is an insanely good card. return MC'd ally, bounce a high cost ally giving you resource advantage and possibly board control, clear any effects like Life Infusion.. i dont see a reason not to have 4 in every human deck.Quote:

Retreat is pretty good, but not an awesome card! But I wold put some on.
I don't use Retreat, but I play a different build. To much of my fun is making my own decks, even if they are substandard (mine runs Surprise Attack! heheh). I will try out standard builds to learn from them, though.
(I am considering running retreat though, to manage Aeon in the endgame)

sorry to disappoint you but i doubt this is the best gwen out there... i run a 30-2 (+2 random defeat bugs) in top10... i havent lost a match up vs an other gwen and i dont run retreat i play more allies and many more differences that i dont like to say as of yet....
but a few comments on YOUR deck
2 raven is a must
4 jasmine is a must
consider +1 or 2 aeons they are game saviors vs other hunters/mages/warriors
and i dont like 4 aldons , u can play only 1 at a time and a lot of tiems u will end up not able to use him... 3 is enought...
Is it just me, or is Gwenneth much weaker than in 1.24? I've been having rotten luck... First day, I guess. Didn't even realize that Blake had been decimated down to 1 health like that. :/ I'd rather have him as a 2/1 for 1 resource, then I could at least get him out as an anti-snake first round hitter.

i dont like aeon..i prefer to spam bows and armors...retreat it's awesome...

Just won Danae warwind(top20) because of aeon... He went 1st with amber playing Blake / jasmine/aldon / weapon pretty perfect draw for him... While I didn't have in hand my counter to Blake ( let's say retreat for your deck) so I left with 7 health with him having 30.... He did destroy my 2 boys that I payed in turn 4&5 and when we had no card in hand ( or close to it) I had a soul keeper on, puted an aoen down and never lost an other health... Won and had 6 health left cuz of aeon.... Bows by themselfs can't secure board control u need + 1 ally to be able to 1 shoot plasma+ raven when played... When i change deck I will post it all... But it will come to a surprise to most... Since I don't use many "standrad" cards
there are less than 150 cards in this game...it cant be that weird..i'll think about aeon..but i still dont like him enough
