Oddly based off the OP you are better off winning everything 3-2.

I'll check out the OP. Maybe I didn't specify but ranks are sorted as such:
1 - Your overall score
2 - Head to head: TB, checks to see if you had beaten the opp you are tied with
3 - Strength of victory: Points Difference, so 3-0s give you a better points difference than 3-2
4 - Strength of schedule: Bucholz, how strong your opps were
So ideally, you want to win all your rounds 3-0 and want the opps you played to do as good as possible after that.
Thanks for the answer. However, I am not happy that we know this just now and after I asked (I just got "suspicious" from other players discussion). The OP didn't say anything like that so I could easily assume that points of difference doesn't count so I could play "chilled" and get a 3-2 win the same as having a 3-0. (ever more after qazzaq pointed out the former was actually favorable). I don't like to whine but because I am one of the players with the lowest score difference, I find this a bit unfair to not be clear since the beginning. I hope it will not matter at the end but I just say my concerns in advance of the final standings.
Not to be rude, but it's a pretty high stakes tournement. Why would you play less than your best assuming slightly more lenient tie breakers will be your safety net?
@starval I didn't see the TG chat because I get thousands of messages per day and since this is the official sign up and post the results page, it should definitely be updated.
@streetsahead what if I played at my best and did the score on purpose because I am that good? :P
The point is that because it is a high stakes tournament the rules are rules and should be clear to everyone and stated from the beginning. Anyways I'll stop here because I don't want to start a dispute. From now on I'll follow the latest TO rules as mentioned above.
