@raph: I don't think Rampage is much but enrage does a lot tho for that 10hp. Btw, did you ordered those wheel counters or are they available locally?
Raph showing off another new toy? :p
KA, a china-based chinese guild, does Organise pop-up tourneys. You can check out the organized play section.
A pop up tourney is usually for 16 players and takes around 3 to 4 hours, should one reach the finals. The entire tourney is completed in one sitting.
China is also gmt + 8.
There are also larger tourneys: i.e. 32 or 64 man, whereby for each round, you'll need to contact your respective opponent, each rd can be 3 to 7 days depending on the rules and organizer.
But I have had to wake up at 5am or stay up at 2am to have some of my games done as my opponents are from the other side of the world.
From I am feeling from you, pop ups might be the way to go for you.
I'll try to post some pics later.
They are v good, those players who tried them last week can testify.
I bought them from games haven (paya lebar). I have also seen them at the doby gaunt mrt tcg shop. They also have tables and seats there for playing but the place is dark and does not look tempting.
I've pretty much checked out every game store in singapore.
There is also one small shop in bishan.
I am liking the one at mid point orchard a lot; but they are primarily a warhammer community or other board games, less on tcg, but their dice and life beads are so so so so nice. Biggest selection of chessex and other nice dice I've ever seen.
They have a lot of space though and there are stands whereby games are displayed on small stands for people to play test /view / touch the products (not sure if the game devs paid a fee) , but it could be something Kyle could look into.
It works exactly like the ones you were able to get the sponsorship for: it's just that mine are sturdier, numbers are large, translucent case makes for easier scrolling and a spring lock so no accidental turns.
It's around 13 sgd. a lot more ex. :)
See it here: http://www.shadowera.com/showthread....368#post354368
SGD13 is pretty ex....
Very ex. But it's a Japanese original, not a rip off.
Lol, these are 25 sg dollars for each set:

These are better for spectators: say, a tourney finals whereby a group of people are watching. Everyone can see each respective players' life rather than the small digits in the wheels contraception.
Nothing beats the iPad though; for life counters.

Ok I'm hopping down to paya lebar later after work @ around 1~2pm, I really liked those. The ultrapro ones are nice but the wheels came off. :/
