I would like to know, how many games did u played to lost only 14 points? With all those mult sync, strange disconnection, etc, losing only 14 points having 539 is a HARD thing to do.. ;)
Does anybody thinks that's possible to gain 7 points being a 566 player??? Isn't that toooo obvious? Strange that seonjae is on the same pack..

Got the same 3 problem as you..
1) Ipad
2) Random defeats
3) Played too much
@arebelspy "I get the feeling it's not going to get any better", as in, people's rating in the top 20 will continue to decline and ultimately prove that most, if not all, of them intentionally used unfair means to get their way there. While there are many reasons why people can lose rating, if they just continue to lose it week after week, in contrast to their sharp and upward-explicit rise, only one credible explanation would remain since the implementation of the exploit fixes.
I have a little english, i just want to say, that i lose more than 60 match because of the message "sorry, multiplayers sessions, please quit..." or something like that. So my rating should be with +100 in fact. So penalize the quiters is good, but too bad in an other way... I hope people understand my english... It's always a pleasure to defeat the top 20 rankin But it's become rare to play against them...
I still experience ppl making games out of sync. Just fought DOOMDG and he did the same last turn. Caused me 4 ratings drop because he is about 120 rate below me. This really frustrates me a lot............ Just 1 last turn and he is a goner but that is it..... I may just quit this game soon if this is happening so frequent.. Wasted my money buying crystals..........
Yes! Frustating is the word, today i played 20 matchs, and won all of them, but because they have low rating i only won three point, in fact it was easy to win, so i can't ask for more point, but i know i'll have 3 or 4 bugs and i'll lose 10 point, it's too bad. Are the matchs planing by ranking? I think so, because since i lost all those points which rating me over 400, i didn't play with high level's players, that the most frustating things for me. Thanks for giving me a answer.
Your rating is not a score that keeps going up and up, the math behind it is to try and give an accurate number to your skill level.
I understand many of the higher ranking players just don't seem to play PvP anymore because they fear their rating dropping but Kyle said he was considering implementing rating decay for inactive players. That way, players that got to where they are by mainly using past exploits will sink where they belong.
As for sync errors, unfortunately, this is just something people have to put up with for now. Kyle is trying to hire more people to make the dev team agile enough to really reduce sync errors out of existance but for now, do report your sync errors so they can look into it. Just post the names of the players, the time the match took place, and your timezone. If you play alot of PvP, by the time they read and check the game, it may be overwritten by your other PvP games so consider doing a video report.
dear kyle... this game is fun, but i think still some people are still exploiting this game.
with the enemy (DarkClaw) with 1 health left, suddenly he played the rain card, and about 4 secs later i get "DEFEAT" message
i stop playing at the moment so the engineer could take a look on it.
my nick in game is "drakko", my opponent is "rionn", and im not happy of losing 3 rating point because of cheat (prove me wrong)
These days i dont even bother. Every other game is some clown exploiting the system. The biggest joke is that the demotion system is supposed to hurt the cheaters, but since the cheaters never get a DEFEAT, it's legitimate players that get burned.
So far, I have not purchased any shadow crystals due to this though I am DYING to do so... I got all my shadow crystals from the download coupons which are fast running out. I will NOT buy any shadow crystals until I am sure of the following:
* No more DEFEATS due to glitches or multi-player exploits by online idiots, rendering my hard-earned cards and deck useless
* Reputation system, lobby system and private match system so we can avoid the exploiters or ostracize them if it becomes impossible to stop them from exploiting the system.
Without these I can't justify purchasing the crystals, and I can't bring over my MTG group (to whom I had been hyping the game).
I hope 1.25 fixes the problems above. I feel the lobby system is far more pressing than any card balance at this point...I find the game extremely enjoyable when I meet the odd REAL player.
