I think we've been in agreement the whole time...

Not publicising exploits is preferable to some idiotic notion of "it will get fixed faster if people cheat".
If you want I can publish a detailed 'how to' guide of how to alter the cards you play as sent to the server, read your opponents hands, and guarantee sync issues and opponent defeats. I can post it off-site so that it can't be removed and show how to do it with easily downloadable tools. Then everyone can cheat and it will "get fixed faster" because the game will be completely ruined until the fix comes in. Right?
HTTPS is a must. Hope Unity3D provides that.
If it's a choice of everyone exploiting it and getting it fixed within a week (as with this thread) or having a few exploit it and the devs ignore it for months, I'd choose the former.
Naturally it getting fixed fast with few knowing would be the ideal situation, but if it makes something get fixed that others might otherwise exploit forever, I'd rather it be out in the open, yes.
It already was 'out in the open' since Kyle was deleting the threads and aware of the bug. Not sure why you think some forced 'freedom of speech' ideal would make things better and it's not hard to see how it could make things worse.Quote:

Good job that you're not the forum admin then :)

I'll give it one more week before I fully make up my mind but I get the feeling it's not going to get any better.
How is that not getting better? Most are dropping, as would be expected with the super rating inflation. A few are rising (though there have been Qs about a few people still manipulating things). A few are not playing, and Kyle said he may well implement rating decay.
Everything seems as it should be? Ratings sorting themselves out?
What am i missing?
