venomflame archer + retreat and deathbone

this happen vs the AI:
opponent have in play deathbone and I have venomflame archer in play then I use venomflame archer ability on deathbone and attack oponent hero and I use retreat on my venomflame archer and end my turn. at the start of the opponent turn deathbone is killed by my venomflame archer ability and deathbone ability hits my venomflame archer in my hand then on my next turn I play venomflame archer and she is only 2hp. deathbone ability shouldn't hit the ally in my hand...
