Its a bit of a collectable. Plus its nice to have them if it will increase the picture size too. Plus it shows off

The point? It's not a big deal, but if you look at the digital game, the Hero card stands larger than the others to indicate its importance to the game.

Physical play has always had all the cards the same, standard size, but really there's no reason the Hero needs to be that small, and it is kinda difficult to keep count of health and status of the hero, given that it is often the target of multiple damage sources. Besides, sometimes after a game the cards are gathered up randomly, and the hero is lost in the deck.

Now they're offering a bigger format of hero card, and you can choose to display it as original or new-style art. It's easy to see, easier to place colored beads, counters, or post-it notes, and you won't lose it in your deck. If you don't feel like using the oversized heroes, you can still use the originals as always....

Ok that's a point, but this has to be digital only collectible, because physical printing format change would cost a ton, if its a collectors thing, ok. But I don't see it as a draw to keep brining new players in, that's what TCG's are all about, without a fresh draw of new players there will only be a limited supply of us old guys who,( and this happened IRL last week) brought in 9000 magic cards and donated them to our boy scouts troops! does the guy play, not often, he only collects the rare ones. This was a collection from 1st edition of magic, ... The kids were happy but there was not a single large hero or foil that wasn't common by then.

It didn't help to get new players / business, that's my point. But if people want em? What the hell, give em the big ass cards

The oversized heroes are physical cards, only. They aren't for the digital game, because digital already displays oversized heroes.

They are a physical, collectable item.

So wait a minute, I'm a bit confused on what Kyle's post means. Is he saying that you only get the oversized heroes and exclusive foils if you preorder the complete set or play set? Or is he just saying how many of these bonuses you get with those particular orders? Cause I thought you got these bonuses regardless of which item you preordered.

That being said, there need to be a lot more preorders done to get the oversized heroes anyway.

Booster box and Epic Collection get the oversized heroes too (1 set). He was just clarifying that Complete Playset really is 4x Complete Set.

So i Just updated my account with v. 2.01 and went to check my cards, I only have 1x of each foil and I ordered a complete playset, so shouldn't I have 3 more of each card? How can I get this fixed?

Yep. My active deck was Logan with 4 Killing Spree. I logged in and I only had two. There were a whole bunch of other cards missing too, but I didn't bother recording them and I already replaced them all, I only remember Killing Spree because that's how I could prove that it wasn't me accidentally selling a bunch of cards (you can't sell from your active deck). And I remember having to replace a Karlstrad because that was about half as much as everything else together.

Odd, now that you mention it, I only had 2 Treusured Heirlooms when I logged in, when I was pretty sure I had 4 previously. I wasn't using any in any deck either.
