That's pretty much the standard general pricing for any TCG. Expect to pay more for the cards with more demand (I promise foil Soul Seeker will be more than $3, for example)

Nah not foil if wulven insists on not allowing foils in play. Standard soul seeker, hell yes. I expect that card to easily reach the hundreds.

You can play with foils so long as your deck is sleeved. If its casual sleeves aren't required, obviously.

don't play without sleeves. NO matter how good the quality of the card might be, it will get ruined by shuffling and playing if you don't sleeve them.

True, although it gets frustrating shuffling them. Im sleeving mine as soon as I receive them...

By the way - we won't get sleeves for a while, but a pack of 100 clear card sleeves only costs something like $1.25 (US dollars)? They're pretty cheap.

To be honest, I am not trying to make a huge profile from reselling my cards. I wanted to help Wulven and if i just break even, I'll be happy. Plus, the deals/bonuses they offered were irresistible.

clear is generally advised against also because if the back of your card has a scratch or a lil bend, people can claim you are cheating by always knowing what that card is. Stick with solid colors, non reflective. I like Players choice standard sized sleeves for this the best.

KMC are the best I've ever found. I still buy ultra pro for MTG when I like the picture, but they fall apart. My Mirran sleeves' pictures are already peeling off the back, and those are only a year and a half old. But I have three year old KMC sleeves that still look new, and show no wear and tear beyond slight "scratches" on them. I don't know how to describe them beyond scratches, except maybe dents. But they aren't noticeable unless you closely examine the cards.
