I am checkin out the city! Main issue is I have not slept in 36hrs, so I may not be able to enjoy it much.

How safe is NYC anyway? My wife is worried and I need to reassure her. I am not an experienced traveler but at least there is no language barrier here.

My badass skeleton mask is scaring off most people but it's gonna be difficult to eat through it, so there will be a brief period where my innocent face and bewildered expression shows I'm just a vulnerable tourist with a badass mask.

NYC is safe. Just be sensible. Don't flash too many of those foils around, or you might get some unwanted attention. Be safe. Have fun.

Nyc is seriously safe. Just stick to the main streets, stay around times square at night, and use taxis to get around.

I'm tempted to drive over there but I don't have the time.
