    Lightbulb Shadowspawn Elementalis

I've always thought Shadowspawn was useless. I even sold all of them to get more gold because I thought I'd never use this s***ty card. But I was wrong

Elementalis with shadowspawn is tier 1.

Seeing it played in WC final, I was shocked. Then I soon realized how lazy I had been for not finding this revolutionary strategy. Some people said the idea of playing shadowspawn in Elementalis has always existed. A1 Fordfff has posted a Elementalis deck with x4 Shadowspawn in SF.

But who truly believed that shadowspawn makes Ele a tier 1 hero?

In defense of these people, though, Ele had hard time in the past meta. Spirit shuriken, Sabreen, Yahari and other locations, Eternal Troll and Embers Jericho pushed Ele away from the meta for a long time.

He is finally back! and is suddenly on top of tier list, all because of what used to be a terrible card from the very first CotC set. Isn't it amazing?? I love this game so much.

This thread is for celebrating shadowspawn's debut in competitive scene

We've got to be more creative. There must be more undiscovered strategies in this game. We need to find them all!

I'm glad you're so excited by it Kylt. I wanted to play something that was heavily agro oriented, but with great midrange potential and some sort of secret weapon. I came back to Spawn Ele over and over.

I just can't stand to lose to t2 going first feasterling (or puwen aldon) with such an early game oriented hero. It gets killed by t3 krygon or sabreen so it sometimes become useless. I also don't play it on t1 going first. I guess I really wanted to kill that t2 drop

What's great about spawn is that even if everyone knows about spawn in Ele, its effectiveness doesn't change. It makes opp think twice before making decision which already generates advantage for Ele. It's not a secret weapon, it's an invisible and giant weapon for Ele.

I feel the same way! I love taking specific unplayed cards and attempting to bring them into the limelight

It looks weird at first glance but actually makes sense. Ever consider caged savage?

I did. At least I've got a theory for him. Caged savage requires 4 exaltation, 4 relentless savagery and 4 krygon. And it's good on t4 with 3cc ally (1cc + 3cc) so I would take out all MC and increase 3cc ally count. I didn't get to test this version though. Could be better than fire snake version.

Just want to point out that Schadowspawn can be great with any 3se hero like Banebow or Rakkia.

Banebow and Raikka both often store their SE if things go well. On the other hand, Ele can always use SE ability in full effect before spawn. I see a huge difference there. Spawn is also "great" in other 3se heroes but not as good when compared to use in Ele.
