    Stripping Elementalis

MY LONG AWAITED ELEMENTALIS STRIPPER DECK 45 cards

    3x brutalis
    3x fire snake
    4x dark flayer
    4x sparks

    2x energy discharge
    4x transference
    3x mind control
    2x shards of power
    2x shriek
    2x evil ascendant
    2x rain delay
    2x bazaar
    4x bad santa
    3x nova infusion
    4x dimension rippers

this deck took me by surprise. its very effective. with the bad santas, you can acutally steal their cards and not lose any of your own. the transference helps even more. its a FAST mill deck with lots of control options. its actually funny when your opponent gets one of your shards and casts it and you drop an evil ascendant. this is maybe the only deck, for me, that i see elementalis's ability useful.

What rating has this deck brought you to with the reset?

I was going to start a thread but your strategy is very similar so I'll post it here. It's close to your method but with some changes:

    4x Fire Snake
    4x Hellsteed
    4x Spark
    2x Dark Flayer

    4x Bloodlust
    4x Shard of Power

    1x Soul Reaper

    2x Mind Control
    2x Dimension Ripper

    4x Bad Santa
    Bazaar

    3x Shriek
    Acid Jet

    4x Shadowspawn

Optional: adding Transferences, more Mind Control, more Dimension Ripper

    40 cards + Elementalis

This is mainly a fun rush deck that has a lot of weaknesses (I like to try new strategies instead of go for a high record). However, if your rush fails, you can try to make a comeback with Mind Control, Transferences and Dimension Ripper. Stealing their cards can mess up their strategy and give you some stronger cards, and usually they get your weenies when hit with your weapon (DR) so you aren't helping them.

If the game lasts longer, you can use the Elementalis ability to buff your allies to compete and try to retain board control. Shadowspawn is excellent because Elementalis' ability costs 3 while many other heroes cost 4. So you can use your ability and then deny them theirs!

To see it in action, here's a funny/close game I just played, search for: Jagathai vs ACrowley

how does that rush with only 12 allies?

3 or 4 bazaars are an absolute must. try not to use ripper until you have the soul reaper in hand, dont want them having that. drop 2 shadowspawn or get rid of them. add in 3 mind control... playing all weenies, its not so bad when you lose them... im iffy on the bloodlusts and the shards losing those can come bit you on the butt. i might just take them out completely and add more allies and dim rippers.

glad you are having fun with a deck that has a stripper in it

Not sure how you can say it's effective if you've not tried it since the reset. The meta has changed a lot since before the reset.

If you want more allies, drop a couple Transference cards for Dark Flayers. You can live without Transference, but all the rest of the cards seem manditory. You can drop the other 2 Transference for 1 more Mind Control and 1 more Dimension Ripper. (I will edit the OP)

The shadowspawn are vital for taking advantage of Elementalis' 3 energy cost and denying the other hero his first turn ability. Hopefully by then you've done huge damage with your allies and can just finish him off with Mind Control or Dimension Ripper and buffing your allies with his ability. This deck can do a lot of damage quickly, you should try it. It is just weak vs certain other decks.

If you don't like shadowspawn, then you are better off going Zaladar with this deck and using Shadowfonts instead.
