Forum and game account linking!

Ok, I can answer some of the technical questions here.

Either your email or forum name should match your game login email or player name, respectively.

If they do match, your forum name, email and password will be synced with the game credentials and from then on will always match the game account. Eg when you change your guild and pay to change your player name, your forum name will also be updated.

If they do not match, your forum account will not be able to be accessed anymore. When you try to log in to the website with your game credentials, you will then be creating a new forum account.

The email I use to log into the game is one I no longer use. The one currently tied to my forum account is my active one. How would that be handled? The forum email become that of my game email? And if I change emails, then that will also affect my ingame login?

To change the following you can do the following:

Forum User ID - please email support@shadowera.com requesting a change of your forum name

Forum email - click Settings in upper right. navigate under My Account on the left to Edit Email & Password (http://www.shadowera.com/profile.php?do=editpassword)

Game User ID - click Support tab at top of screen. Click on Support Tools (http://www.shadowera.com/content.php?143-Support-Tools). Cost 100 SC to change name.

Game email - I am guessing you will need to email support for this as well. (if possible, email support@shadowera.com requesting a change of your game email)

2 game accounts = 2 email addresses = 2 forum accounts

i'd make sure your primary game account is linked to the forum email.

for your alt game account just don't register on the forum unless you want to play mind games about it being your alt account
