    Tactician Class

    After making the Blood Mage class Shadow only, I figured it would be fair to come up with a Human only class. So, the Tactician class came to mind. As the name suggests, it's main focus is ally support, with a few reasonable cards thrown in (I think :P ). A new card type as well: Formation- only one formation can be out at a time. If one is out and another is cast, the original formation is destroyed.

    I hope that everyone is enjoying these ideas I have put forth. Judging by my other two class suggestions, it seems like they are well received.

    Same disclaimer: no pro at casting costs. And as a general rule, these are for inspiration, but would be neat to see these classes in some shape or form be in the game.


    Heroes (27 health each):

    Tyranus the Strategist
    4 SE: All friendly allies gain +2 attack until the beginning of your next turn.
    "Soldiers. I need soldiers to win the battle!"

    Shanna Crestfall
    3 SE: Target friendly ally has all damage healed and all negative status effects removed, and is exhausted for one turn.
    "Rest. Well in health makes for victory."

    Class Cards:

    Hold The Line!
    Tactician Ability- Formation
    4cc
    All friendly allies gain 2 health while this Formation is in play.
    "Dig in! They approach!"

    Phalanx
    Tactician Ability- Formation
    4cc
    All friendly allies gain 1 attack and 1 health while this Formation is in play.
    "The perfect mix of offense and defense..."

    Advance
    Tactician Ability- Formation
    4cc
    All friendly allies gain 2 attack while this Formation is in play.
    "Charge!"

    War Strategy
    Tactician Artifact
    2cc
    3 Resources: Look at opponent's hand, and target Formation in your graveyard is returned to your hand.
    "This should work against them...."

    Courier
    Tactician Ability
    2cc
    Draw 2 Cards.
    "Quickly! We need more supplies!"

    Siege Engine
    Tactician Artifact
    3cc
    2 Resource: Target opposing ally receives 3 damage.
    "No defense can last long against it."

    Battle Banter
    Tactician Ability- Attachment
    3cc
    Target opposing ally has its attack and health reduced by 1, and target friendly ally receives 1 to attack and health.
    "Even words between foes can have an effect."

    Demoralizing Sight
    Tactician Ability
    5cc
    All opposing allies are disabled for 1 turn.
    "Behold the might of our army and despair!"

    Stronghold Guardian
    Tactician Ability- Attachment
    3cc
    Target friendly ally gains Defender.
    "Defend at all cost, even your life."

    Flank the Enemy!
    Tactician Ability
    3cc
    All friendly allies gain Ambush until the end of your turn.
    "Take them from the sides unaware."

    I think these ideas would be better suited as additions to the Warrior class.
    Fire Snakes are high in Vitamin D.

    They could be additions to the warrior class as well. Even the heroes.

    As an update, I changed siege engine to an artifact. With the way the class operates, ally support, it makes much more sense if it was a SUPPORT item, instead of another ally.

    I like these, especially the formations, might be better as warrior as reshiram said, also shanna's ability isnt very good, it might need some adjusting, since as of now it's only real use would be healing an aeon, maybe make it get rid of frozen and disables?

    I like this. I'd make her exhaust and fully heal an ally, including status effects.

    Also as they're worded I believe the lifegain associated with formations are a one-time thing. I'd word it like "Friendly allies have +x health while (formation) is in play", sort of like King's Pride.

    The 3 formations feel like a lot if a class only gets 10 unique cards per expansion. I'd probably limit it it 2 and/or give them more interesting effects if only 1 could be on a field at a time. Maybe they could grant abilities like:

    Phalanx
    Tactician Ability - Formation
    3cc
    Friendly allies have +1 health and Defender while Phalanx is in play.

    Charge!
    Tactician Ability - Formation
    3cc
    Friendly allies have +1 attack and Ambush while Charge! is in play.

    Ah. True. I didnt specify that they stayed in play. I will have to adjust that. I like that addition to Shanna's ability. In regards to it only really being good for Aeon, if you had hold the line out, could be used for many allies, even your weak beats, since with hold the line, they are gaining life instead of only healing it.

    In regards to the formations seeming basic, lava, its because like your ideas that formations could have added abilites in future expansions. It would not be just limited to these.

    Currently at work, on my phone, but I will go back and edit Shanna's ability and add specifics to Formations when I am on break.

    Taking my knowledge of the game so far into account, I can't bring nothing more to this idea than this critic: I would rather use a somewhat steampunk-ish style for the arts. (No need to bring in guns or over-the-top technologies, tho, just the victorian touch would bring out the "Tactician" side a bit more)
