I took a look at the guide you guys linked me to, but found it a bit confusing...
What's the difference between the Decks and the Premium decks at the merchant?
Never played a classic TCG I found it a bit hard to check... e.g. what "foil cards" are...

the difference between decks and premium decks, is the number of cards, whats in them and of course, the price. the best bang for your buck (to get gold to buy cards if you want to spend shadow crystals to do that) is the Raikka deck. its the best resale for gold value.

foil cards (or premium cards in other games) are really just "shiny" versions of the regular cards

the guide just shows you how best to get shadow crystals (if you wanna buy them). having some shadow crystals just helps you get cards faster and you use real money to buy them... you cant buy gold with real money. plus shadow crysals are what you need to get card sleeves and playmats.

foils, sleeves and playmats are not required to play the game, just makes it more fun for some of us and its eye candy too... or bling, whatever you want to call it

Great. Thanks for your explanations ☺.
I decided to take the crystal offer in the store with cause it's a real bargain and gets me a complete start up...
I'm really happy that I left HS before it even thought about getting a card pack with real money...
So I chose all the Premium decks packs first.
Now the next step would be to get rid of all cards which I have more than 4, right?
So the foil cards are just optical being (they have e.g. full card drawings on them?) and I can decide to sell them or the standard version to have max of 4...
    Is that right so far?

Hi. Any cards above 4 copies are not worth keeping, so yes, do sell them for gold. The foils are just nicer versions of the non-foils so you can consider them part of your 4 copies and sell surplus non-foils if you want. Or sell the foils because they net you more gold, but you may later regret it if you get a taste for foils. Hope that helps!

So I did that now. Decided to keep the foil cards and sell the standard ones.
Now I need to learn which basic deck to start with...
