Ok I am confused. Am I missing something? I understand the IGG card point but, from my limited experience, you have to maintain both board control and tempo. Both of these are very critical.

With ankelbreaker you drop your enemy allies to 1 attack and that is nice but they are still on board and can cause problems. Bad Wolf becomes a 1/4 that can still kill a Kristo and 2 of them can kill Bridgette.

With the dagger you are able to control the board by removing enemy allies slowing thier tempo and forcing them to deal with your weapon 1st or slow thief tempo wearing the weapon down. This plays into your favor as they struggle to keep allies on board or waste resources.

Like I said above anklebreaker is a nice weapon but what does it matter if you make:

    1) a 1/8 Aeon
    2) a 1/6 Raven
    3) a 1/5 Brutal Minatour
    4) a 1/5 PB

And so forth. With the dagger they spend 3-6 resources just to have it bounced back to thief hand. If they play small allies then you can deal with them. If they recasts the fatties then you can send them back to thief hands. From the little testing I did when you attack with the dagger it acts like Logan's ability and the effect takes place before you are delt the damage.

Like I said ankelbreaker is a nice weapon I just can't see how it helps with IGG as most of the supporting allies are pretty weak and even 1 damage is enough to seriously hurt them.

I agree with you on DoU, but you are making wrong maths here...

    1) a 1/6 Aeon
    2) a 1/4 Raven
    3) a 1/3 Brutal Minatour
    4) a 1/3 PB

Sounds much better: if you have some ally on the board they can handle them easier, now... Jasmine kills BM and PB, with aldon on board even Raven; a simple Puwen with aldon on the board kills BM and PB too!
Oh, Aeon... Well, for him you always have Assassination! :P

I am curious to try the new weapons... If only I had time... -.-

    Heyy... Nice duel back there....
CV is a good card no doubt....but it costs u six resource....If you've board control and need emergency healing,CV comes in handy but still you've got nice defense....
But remember CV won't help you against Elad who is one of the major problem right now

Another Reason to use Anklebreaker :

Anklebreaker + CV = Blessings from God

I run 3-4 IGG. No matter what the theory says, it is a good card. Sure it takes one turn to set up, but once it is on, it is damn sweet.
Praxis has shown that it works - real game does not follow probabilities, and often those nice theorized resource curves just go out the window. Imho, it works well.
