this has been asked before. it's not a bug i think.

it's intended i think.

Logan Stonebreaker :
Until your next turn, YOUR WEAPONS gain +1 attack and any ally dealt damage by them is destroyed.

Serena Thoughtripper :
YOUR WEAPONS gain +2 attack until the end of your turn. If Serena damages a Hero, that player discards a card at random.

Gwenneth Truesight :
Until your next turn, YOUR WEAPONS gain +2 attack and do not suffer durability loss.

Darkclaw :
Until the start of your next turn, YOUR WEAPONS have +2 attack and all damage to Darkclaw is reduced to 0.

Amber Rain:
TARGET WEAPON permanently gains +2 attack, but may not gain any other bonus.

so basically with the four prior heroes, you can cast more than one weapon in one turn and subsequent weapons will still get the effect.

with amber, you have to have a weapon first. If all of the above is changed to work like amber, DC wont work at all because he will have to have a wepon in play in order to use his ability.

but you can cast as many weapons as you want in one turn as long as you have enough resources.

I know that there will only be one weapon on board, but casting multiple weapons is possible.

here's a scenario:

you are on t8 with 8 resources and you have a stolen Rapid Fire attached to Serena and 4 Shadow Energy.
your Throwing Knife has only one durability left and you still have one more copy of it in hand.
activate Serena's ability and attack with the Throwing Knife on board, finisihing off it's durability.
now with the existing explanation of Serena's ability, the weapon you cast after that will still have the effect and you can steal again.

This works the same with Darkclaw, Logan Stonebreaker, and Gwenneth Truesight.

I don't know why they did this also for Gwen though, since her weapon wont lose any durability anyways.

I think for Amber this is not not the case because she gives a permanent effect.
