I would assume there's much worse language used that's been omitted from the forum for obvious reasons. I've done admin work for some TF2 servers for about a year and a half now, I doubt I've gone a week of active play without having to slam the hammer down on people for racial slurs and the like.

Maybe it's also related to his banned forum account and his creation of other accounts which were subsequently banned as well? I don't understand the need for people to chat in-game just to trash talk when it's uncalled for. Humorous trash talking is something different though.

As for the 1 week suspension on Jukeboxer's game account, that's a combination of continued forum violations as well as abrasive language usage in-game. He was at 2 infractions before his game account was suspended. With just a in-game chat problem, normally you'll get a warning, temporary chat suspension, or permanent ban on chatting; depending on the severity of the case. No one has been banned from just having in-game chat problems yet. This would be reserved for cases where players continue to use inappropriate language in chat and create new accounts to subvert their chat ban. Then, all of your accounts can be banned.

We currently don't have a policy on multiple accounts so people do have the freedom to have multiple in-game and forum accounts. If your ability to chat was permanently disabled, you can create another account and I don't care as long as you're being civil and there's no further problems. However, when players insist on exhibiting inappropriate behavior, we will proper action.
