Should Eladwen be changed back?

is perfectly fine as is. It's some of the other heroes that need looked at. In my opinion, a hero ability should never be situational. The hero is the foundation of the deck, and should never be useless, as is the case if you run into an allyless deck while playing Majiya

. If I lose a match, I want it to be because my opponent had a better overall deck or was a better player, not because of my choice of hero.

To be fair, if you used a hero that had a power that could be rendered useless, your opponent DID have an overall better deck...

It's baffling how a bunch of professional game designers can screw up so totaly. They made a correct move trying to balance Maj, and then they just go and ruin the balance on the spot. Mage vs Mage used to be a bit stupid - now with Elad it's damn disgusting. It's all about the opening hand now.

Really they aren't professionals. They are more like indies.

There are two contradictory goals at work: Test cards thoroughly before releasing them vs. Keep releasing material to keep players engaged. The second goal, championed by Kyle won out over the first goal (I'm presuming championed by Calmdown) in this instance.

If you had to choose between hitting an ally for 4 and hitting an ally for 3 and drawing a card which would you choose? It isn't a tough choice.

She was changed mostly because Majiya

was changed.

Many times people don't realize at first sight how OP something is. If they did, it wouldn't have made it in the first place.
