SS in my Boris? two please!

So I built a Boris Skullcrusher deck after playing with Elementalis, Eladwen Frostmire, and Gravebone through 1.28. My Boris deck was doing well against all heroes except Darkclaw. I got a few wins against him, but usually my army of allies with War Banner and The King's Pride behind them couldn't get past all his hiding late game, and I had to sit there and watch as my opponent spent 20 -30 minutes hitting and hiding.

So I decided to run two Snow Sapphire cards just to see what would happen. I still ran two King's Pride for other battles, and could sac the SS in games I didn't need them.

And then, just moments ago, I faced my first DC deck since making the addition. Oh the fun. Sure, he tried to stall as long as he could and squeeze past the damage I was doing the first 1-2 times he was frozen, but in the end he couldn't do enough hiding.

Oh the fun of seeing DC frozen and unable to use his ability or spam Shadow Font!

I'm sure I am not the first one to do it, but I don't remember seeing other posts about it, so I thought would share my joy

+1 If this brought a bit of happiness to your Warrior day!! Go Boris, slayer of Wolves!

this is a good tactic against Darkclaw. he cant use his ability for two turns and has to rely on full moon which he only has 4 of. he does still heal with lone wolf. mages have been using it against him for awhile (and others). ive been using it in my Ter Adun deck as well. ive ran into at least 2 other warrior decks using SS. its a pretty good tactic overall. other than the mages, i think you are the first to actually post this tactic using warriors against DC.

    More effective use of space:

Smash every single one of his teeth. Nothing else.

    Yay for being 1st!

Umm, Giskard just curious if your "ok" means you think this is good or bad or you just don't care?
GS also curious if you know of another tactic to

Smash every single one of his teeth
    ?

I would love to hear other strategies.

Like Gs said. Smash teeth. Swarm board then a well timed misplaced. +2Smashing Blows and 2+Misplaced is all u need for DC. Timing is everything.

You don't need other strategies, with 4 smashing blows you'll beat darkclaw and they can be used against another heroes also.

ok great I haven't played with smashing blows in my deck, I'll try that and see how it works for me. Apologies I didn't initially know what was meant by "smash teeth", glad I know now.

I'll still play around with the Snow Sap's, I'm sure it caught my last opponent off guard and I came out with the win. Anytime I can do something different and make it work I just get all warm and fuzzy inside If it isn't consitant enough, then hey I'll just scrap it.

    thanks people!
