A New category of card...what do you think?

What do you think about creation of this new category card:

    "The Champion"....what is it?
It is a very special card which must have these particular features:

    1) It must be an ALLY for a SPECIFIC class (warrior, hunter ecc...)
    2) Its casting cost MUST BE at least 6 or 7
    3) We can put ONLY ONE champion of the same type into the deck

....obviously the champion is an epic card...adn, why not, a new specific card...i mean:
    WHITE: Common
    GREEN: Uncommon
    BLU: Rare
    PURLPE: Epic
    GOLD: Champion

    I purpose an example:

    NAME: DeathFang
    CLASS: Wolven
    CATEGORY: Wulven Champion
    CAST:7
    HEALTH: 6; ATTACK: 5;
EFFECT: If DeathFang kill an ally enemy hero loses one Shadow Energy

Sounds like something suitable for a limited expansion, if at all. Let's see the entire basic set before implementing new card classes.

    FreeHansje good and wise observation.

I think Brutal Minotaur is good and strong ally...but he has a negative effect when he dies...I think a class champion has to be:
    1) Particularly strong (a little above average...just like Minotaur).
    2) Has got only POSITIVE effect for his hero.

Perhaps Aeon Stormcaller is near of my "concept of Champion"...in fact he is EPIC!
If an ally has "status" of Champion we recognize and differentiate it among other normal allies....and this fact opens several possibilities for other future cards (i mean normal allies specialized against champions....)

I think it may be an intersting solution...i know....it's very easy to create an overpowered champion who can change delicate equilibrium of the game...anyway i m very interested in your and developers opinion!

    Thx for attention!

...go on developer go on!!! this game has big potential!!

Let's see first some more Epic allies and then we can talk for another rarity. Still waiting for Ogloth!

Imagine Eladwen Frostmire whit some sort of epic ally...
    I don't particularity like it...
As a rogue player, I find it dificult as it is to maintain board control against Eladwen Frostmire

    Zlobasi i understand your opinion...
anyway i suppose rogue power will be improved on the next version of Shadow era...Rogue is cool, i have a deck with this hero...but he is not the strongest hero at the moment! It's Not easy to play, i know and i agree with you!
Anyway also Rogue may will have his own champion....strong enough to help you against Eladwen :-)

I guess "paying two more resources when casting it, to suck a bit of opponent's shadow energy instead of losing two of your hero's HP when he dies" is your answer .
