It's been a while since I suggested a new card. Mainly because I wanted to post a pic, like qwerty does, but I was too lazy to sit down and remember photoshop again. Anyway, here we go.

EDIT (3 Dec 2011): I changed her stats and her ability. In the previous versions her ability mentioned she redirected all abilities that targeted the hero. But what about abilities that can target a hero, but not an ally? (In the future we may have more of them). So I decided to use the keyword Spellbreak, suggested by Scion here.

Spellbreak: When an enemy ability would target your hero, it targets the ally with Spellbreak instead, if the ally is a valid target.

Q: Do you think I should change the ability to only redirect damage?

, which means almost same stats and an interesting ability. She can protect the hero from direct damage cards, like Fireball

and Behemoth's ability.

Hmm. Interesting card.

Does Nova Blast count as direct damage? Does she reduce the damage of spells targeting her?

Nice one. Super nova would deal no damage to the hero ?

I think supernova should still hit the hero. This card should protect when the hero is targetted.

I've been thinking about a similar human ally

Indeed. My intention was to prevent only damage that targets the hero, although I had trouble explaining it in such a short space, so I just left it like that.

Just one question. Can someone explain how I can have the full-size picture instead of the thumbnail show up in a post?

Awesome idea. As for targeting effects...the effect on the card has to say "Target" for any targeting effects to be effected by targeting effects...target....effects...

To get a full view, you have to use the Image button...use the URL for the image as it is pulled up in "full view". The quickest way to do that is to right click the image and "copy image location" or "copy image url" then paste that for the Image button when posting.

so she doesnt get killed with a nova right?and what about when there are more than one.are they supposed to be targeted on opponent's will while there is no targetting available for the hero, right??i like the idea,nevertheless 3atk is high too much for such a card cause it immediately destroys every ally light deck.a 2/4 at 4 would sound better...killable by a FB,still playable and worthwhile using!
