Offer Draw is not an offer?

I never had anyone use it before in game, nor have I ever offered anyone a Draw. But I thought it was an offer that could be accepted or rejected.

It is totally stupid that I can be winning a game and some loser can just offer a draw, end the game, and rob me of 100 exp and 1/2 gold. Is there something I am missing here? I will admit I didn't read up on the change when 1.28 was released, but this just doesn't seem right.

If anyone agrees or disagrees with me I am happy to hear opinions.

as an ipad user i dont have 1.284 yet (god damn you apple and your ios5 backlogg!!), however that doesnt sound right to me... you sure it wasnt just a sync issue or 'cannot connect to database' and game times out at a draw?

im kinda guessing if it was ok for everone to force a draw at anytime, everyone would be doing it and no one would lose???

When someone types "offer draw," their opponent gets a pop-up to accept or decline the draw. What you experienced was most likely a sync error that resulted in a draw.

I haven't used it or had it used on me, but my understanding is that the other player still has to accept the draw. And if I'm reading the OP right, he has never even had to deal with it, he's just commenting.

it is an offer that you can either accept or reject... it is not automatic. But there is a problem with it - it can be spammed in hopes of you hitting the wrong button. It needs to be changed so that a user can only offer it twice per game IMO

It is already limited to 3 times per match.

ok, i see. the other day i played a match where the other player used it at least 6 or 7 times. But to be fair, i have seen a bug where chats gets repeated over and over and over...

It could have been chat repeating - did you have to click Cancel six times? If so, report it as a bug that it can be done more than 3 times.

it was probably chat repeating - i did not know there was a limit to 3 times but i did have to click cancel every time. i would have reported it if i would have know there was a limit...the game was a few days ago and i didn't get any info

ok I guess it was an error, let me clarify with more info...

1) There had been no chatting during the game.
2) I got no "Offer" window, no chance to accept or decline it just went straight to draw and showed my gained exp and gold (half of winning)
3) There had been no previous offers to draw.
4) I'm on a PC right now (have an iPad but won't play till Apple updates the game), and my hands were not on the keyboard when it happened, so I know I didn't accidentally hit anything.

So with that all being said, and from what you guys are telling me, I guess it was caused by a Sync issue. If that is the case then I feel better about it, there are enough annoyances in the current version to not have to worry about people forcing draw and leaving.
