Acronyms

I stopped playing M:TG back in '01. And I never played competitively, only with friends. So I'm not current on all the terms. I've been able to follow most of the comments on the forums, and figure out what most of the terms mean. But there's one that has been driving me crazy. What does OP stand for?

Sometimes it seems to stand for Overpowered. Other times it doesn't. I thought it might be an overused abbreviation, also substituting for Organized Play. But that still doesn't fit the context of some of the comments! I've included an example below. Can anybody help a fellow out?

Imho, acronyms in RL can be NG for comprehension, like in Rx charts. You'll read something and think, "Wtf is this BS?!"

i still have hard time with this. take SS for example. sometimes its easy but you to stop a minute and realize whether you are in a hunter thread or warrior or mage thread. sometimes its hard, you were in a different thread talking about a different hero and someone makes a comparison... and which SS are they talking about?

and myself, i was using DA for a few posts never realizing i should of been using EA. it wasnt till someone else using EA in a thread and i had no idea what they were talking about and i had to stop and figure it out for a few minutes did i realize i was using the wrong one. ive seen a couple of other people use DA as well. was it dark ascendant before and it changed at some point on the test server to evil ascendant and i didnt notice? or was it never dark ascendant but thats a better name and it just stuck in my head as that?
