    Elementalis Deck

I played this really annoying Elementalis deck last night. It was basically something like:

    Elementalis
    4x Mind Control
    4x Transference
    3-4x Energy Discharge
    2-3x Bad Santa
    1-2x Bazaar
Probably an Eternal Renewal in there for good measure
And some other random cards that I don't remember.

    40+ card deck

It was primarily geared towards constantly wiping the board and making me deck out until I died. He stayed alive through sacrificing a couple creatures. Did a pretty good number on my Warrior deck with Energy Discharge (took out a swarm of allies, twice). Definitely harsh.

A typical low rating deck that wouldn't really function a lot imo.

Yeah, it's not efficient enough to be consistent. It's fun, but not solid.

    That was me =)

Pretty sure that was me Pzychotix.

I was playing around with an idea that spawned from playing my wulven deck...how to stay alive as long as humanly possible to run the other player out of cards. I've tried that, some priest builds (failed horribly), and a warrior build that failed just as horribly.

The sac deck that you played didn't perform. I played it about 10 times, only won twice...tweaking it between each round. It was very inconsistent. I got maybe five players close to death, beat two, and got *destroyed* on all the rest.

I hung it up...not enough supporting cards out there to make this idea work for me yet.

You got the core down...on top of what you listed, there were a bunch of low cost mobs in there, for both types of sacrificing. Sac in the beginning for resources, sac later for health.

I was trying many hero, and i end up to really like the elementails.
I came up with this deck, and here is my winning ratio.
    Wolven Hero 80-90%
Mages hero, except gravebone 40-60% (depend on who goes first)
Gravebone 20-30% (I really hate him)

    Elementails 1
    Spark 4
    Fire Snake 3
    Infernal Gargoyle 3
    Energy Discharge 3
    Mind Control 3
    Feedback 4
    Shard of Power 2
    Life Infusion 3
    Eternal Review 3
    Bazarr 2
    Bad Santa 4
    Total 35

    Any card that i miss?

My current Build for Elementalist is
    Critters
    4x Fire Snake
    4x Spark Elemental
    2x Bad Wolf
    4x Belladonna

    Other:
    4x Bad Santa
    4x Transference
    4x Mind Control
    4x Energy Discharge
    2x Elemental Renewal

I posted about this deck already, you dont need baazar. you just need to use the strategy correctly. your deck is basically built around a hand full of cards and never dying.

I recommend adding 4x Here Be Monsters just for the extra edge against sandra tempo decks eg. Eladwen

I currently have my version of this deck very tight, plays very consistently, and wins better than average. Eladwen of course still catches it more than I'd like, but its still better than 50/50. Key is surviving until the first graveyard refresh, and having only very specific cards in that refresh for constant replay after the first time through the deck. It requires patience, and no mistakes in order to perform.

Unfortunately, I don't think it's going to survive at all when new weapons/armor come into play...everything is going to get shaken up, but I think especially decks like this one.
