      v1.284 released!

      We're pleased to announce that the next major update to Shadow Era is now out, starting with the web version at http://game.shadowera.com

      This huge update features new Human and Shadow ability cards, some nice new features, a 40 card minimum for multiplayer games, and a complete overhaul to the Hero abilities!

      The other platforms will be released shortly, please be patient as they roll out...

      Update: The Android version has been submitted, it should be out on the Marketplace soon or you can get the direct download from http://www.shadowera.com/download.php

      Update: the PC and Mac versions are now available on the downloads page. The iPhone and Mac App Store versions have been submitted to Apple and are waiting for review. It should be about 1 week before they are approved.

      Update: Unfortunately the iPhone version has been rejected due to a compatibility problem under iOS 5, so it has to be resubmitted.

      It depends on the platform... On the web you can just reload the page. On iPhone and Android you'll get an "update available" notification from their appstore/marketplace system, plus a popup in the game that tells you to update. In the future, some things can be updated with the in-game autoupdater, but this time it requires a full download.

      as soon as you go to game.shadowera.com it should automatically update. at least that's what happened to me.
