Sicne when attack from hunter with bow is considered as Melee attack?

Darkclaw Shadow Hero - Wulven 28 All melee damage to Darkclaw is halved.

it is common sense that the hunter's bow attack should be considered as range attack instead of melee one, so this melee halves effect should not apply to range one literally.

Fix,
either change the description of this hero to "All PHYSICAL damage to Darkclaw is halved."
or let the range attack deal the full damage.

It looks like his ability will be changed completely so this won't be an issue in v1.28.

Because of your post they now decided it's easier to change him totally instead of changing the wording. Thus we will have in the next version:

Darkclaw: 4SE: Until the start of your next turn, your weapons deal +2 damage and all damage dealt to Darkclaw is reduced to 0.

of course, even though a hunter uses a bow... a hero with a melee type weapon still gets to attack back.

Have you seen the bows they use in this game? They count themselves lucky to launch an arrow 3 feet. I expect most of the time they just whack their enemies over the head with them.

Lol, good point, hadn't thouht of that before. A person using a sword shouldn't be able to hit back against a bow unless the bow user is a moron standing next to them. Evenbetter is us saying things like that don't make sense.... but apparently demonic shadow heroes using sorcery and whatnot doesnt make us bat an eye ;-)

The mystery is on ghe throwing knife, it still deals full damage (1 damage) but is it considered ranged or melee? The animation shows melee but we will never know...

It has the sword icon for its attack value so if we had ranged damage classification, I would presume it's melee by what is currently shown. However, we don't have ranged damage but if we did, we'd probably have to alter the icon and animation slightly to reflect a thrown dagger.

I guess the damage was halved, but the 1/2 damage rounds up to 1. So the final effect is 1 dng. Similar to the attack from fire snake to dark claw
