How to use Retreat!

To make long story short:
Using human hero? --->Add 4 Retreat

I couldn't think of a human deck where Retreat

would be not usefull.

: Cast ally you do not wish to be retreated then Bad Santa

to fill your hand back to max size before ending turn

Yes, this is really a nasty counter, but you won't be able to pull this of often.

Apparently people on this forum have a mental handicap when it comes to sarcasm.

Sorry, but I tend to agree with Calmdown on this one. The whole sentence implies that in the complete set Retreat

will be the same, but in the larger card pool there will be some card (or cards) that balance the equation re: Retreat

in the Shadow arsenal. I am perfectly content to wait for it, and in the meantime I certainly won't stop playing Shadow Heroes due to Retreat

. Besides, the number of times I've seen Retreat

used poorly (T2 I cast Brutalis

going first, opponent Retreats it then has no 3 drop to counter T3 Gargoyle, for instance) grows about as quickly as seeing it used well in quick games.
