It swaps its own stats. If you use the ability, it will have 5 attack and 2 health. So for example, you can use the ability to get a really high attack rate that will probably kill any other ally, but then on the enemy's turn it will be vulnerable because it only has 2 health.

Could you increase it's health tons of time with various spells or abilities and then swap it, because that seems like a pretty good strategy to me. Also, could you use the ability multiple times, or is it a one time usage?

Yes, there are lots of crazy stuff you can do with this card. Like cast an "attack +1" and then swap, so it ends up having +1 health. Or heal it to recover health, then swap and have more attack. You can use the ability once per turn.

Kyle said you can use his ability as many times as you want so you don't need to worry about another card to allow him to reuse his ability.

If you Get the deck Chimera you might end up with a beast! I can easily see it become 6att/8hp, and I can just change those for a finishing blow!

This card could easily change the tempo of the match, especially once power ups are thrown in
