btw, i think GS is looking for you. go on irc.

    edit:

    i didn't wanna troll

so i'll just say that this deck is very good

i've watched all the games raph's played with this deck

    the wins are awesome

    no fluke wins

i've tried playing it myself for a couple of games, and i get the synergy of this aggro deck.

you should try implementing the combos and the turn x scenarios to get this deck working

raph has already explained to us how to play this deck well

    make use of that

and just for preemptive purpose, if anyone says this deck is bad, there are only 2 reasons:

    1. you're playing it wrong, so just play with it some more

    2. you had crap draws. again, just play with it some more

    *a share of thought:
idk why, but i kinda get the feeling that after you build a deck, even if it was a certain tuned deck you saw in the forum that has great reviews, the first few games you never get good draws. always crappy. after 3-4 games, then you can actually get the ideal draws. for example, i tried building raph's tournament boris deck, where i used 4 BS and 4 BF in my version. the first 4 quick matches, those 2 specific cards never came up in my hand and cost me the games. shit happens

so, this deck is simply very good

if you don't agree, see the two points i addressed above

He means what I was playing a little while ago. Posted in the successful deck archetype thread. The exact list is a bit different I chose to rely on Sandworm instead of Raven. In the weenie meta Enrage is a must IMO, to get back from a slow start. I only got about an 11 win streak with it, losing to a mirror.

This version looks pretty solid too. Amber is definitely Tier 1 in 1.27.

Right now I'm playing Logan which is also pretty strong in 1.27.

Yep. Minor differences, mainly linked to Raph's deck building style.
I still think that ONE war banner could be added because Kris loves it, but it would increase the deck size to 34. So I don't know.

The global idea is that Amber is awesome (even better than Boris). The damage provided by her JD is just too big. No other deck can have such a synergy between ressources (jd), damage (her +2), draw (blood frenzy & bs) and solutions (retreat & cb) with the strong allies provided by the human side (kris & jasmine & end game allies). That's god tier material, and I realised that (only *sigh*) after the crazygambit's thread.

Just made 2 games with the deck, and I lost one to a twin who started the game and the second because of the frozen game bug (playing on my desktop for once...). So now, I'll have to wait for my luck to be back before I can play it again. I knew I shouldn't follow all the black cats who're running under laders...

I run 2 war banners in my build and 1 KP as well. 5/2 Krys is a game changer and depending on the opponent a buffed Sandworm can be nearly unstoppable. However I must admit I'm having a lot more fun with Logan, though I have no idea which is stronger.

    Excellent post!

    These 2 points:

    1. you're playing it wrong, so just play with it some more

    2. you had crap draws. again, just play with it some more

    SUPER spot-on.

    Many people forget that:

    1. You need skill to play ANY deck, even at the beginner level, vs AI.

    2. Luck IS A COMPONENT of SE.

The first and my favorite one is the new Speedy Amber. It's very weapon light, so it might as well be Boris (and with the change coming to his ability it just might), since it only runs 4 JD. However the extra damage you get from those JD is IMO much better than killing a >5cc ally every 4 turns. It runs War Banners and a lone King's Pride. 4x Krys, since it's probably the center of the deck. A buffed Krys is game changing and transforms KP from a win more card into a turn it around card. It also uses the new and improved Crippling Blow and Retreat. The win condition against decks without mass removal is usually a buffed Sandworm, which is very hard to deal with.

Meta: It does well against pretty much everything, even Jericho, since it also runs Bad Santa as backup. To keep it versatile though card count is higher than 30, closer to 40, at least in my build. It might very well be the best 40 card deck though (even though I have no solid evidence to back up such a claim, just my gut instinct). However it loses to the well built weenie rush deck (fortunately there are no many of those in the wild), which leads us to...

    Ok, thanks.

So the your deck and my deck is very different.

My deck does not have the following:

cripple blow, KP, enrage, sandworm, war banner

    Ok, all confusion cleared!

    ( @Brontos: What the H*ll? LOL.)

    LOL.

    Wild goose chase, Brontos.

Gambit's deck and mine are so different. Not minor?!

You are right about the synergy. Only Amber has it. (Due to 3 dmg from JD, unlike the weak 1 dmg from Boris)

I'll re-say this: JD + Jas/Aldon = 6 dmg. Kills Raven, PB, Garg, even when going second.

Hey! I didn't say "It's crazygambit's deck, you thief!" I said "It looks like it".

    Just add:
    2 Banners
    1 Enrage
    1 KP
Swap 2 Ravens by the Worm.
And you got it. I said "minor differences" remember.

I know how attached you are to your deck's intellectual property dude. ;p

LOL, all due respect to you, man!

    I love your posts!

I am just clearing the air, LOL.

Those differences ARE not minor, IMO, buddy!

    LOL.

KP - needs to go beyond 6 resources. Waste of cards.
Banners - I can put in other stuff that CHANGES the deck concept, ie. 4 Ravens instead of 2.
Enrage - not needed, IMO in my deck. A big difference in terms of Mindset.

Related to worms - slower in dmg as compared to raven hence gambit needs Enrage.

Conclusion, IMO, the decks are 'very' different. Not minor! LOL.

    @Gambit - your take?
