"BEGINNERS" TOURNAMENT
(only players rated 160 and under)
GENERAL RULES:
• Your highest rating from your past 30 games must be at 160 or lower at time of signup – (state your “in-game-name” when you signup)
• This tournament is intended for NEW players only. Please, no cheaters with alternate accounts rated at 200+. NEW PLAYERS ONLY!
• You must have completed at least 30 rated games (state your "in-game-name" when you signup)
• Accepting the first EIGHT qualified participants only (this may expand in the future). Reply to this post if you are interested.
• Signups end OCTOBER 7, 11:59 PM EST
• Deck size - 30 card minimum
• You may change your hero or any cards in-between any match.
• All matches will be best of three - (Communicate with your opponent via the forums private messages to arrange your match)
• Tournament will take roughly 3-4 hours (maybe less). So you must be available and online on...
Saturday, OCTOBER 8, from 1:00 AM - 5:00 AM EST
(In California, that converts to Friday, OCTOBER 7, from 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM)
(In Singapore, that converts to Saturday, OCTOBER 8, from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM)
(In UK, that converts to Saturday, OCTOBER 8, from 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM)
• If a player is disconnected during the game, that counts as a loss
• If there is a sync/freeze error or a draw, the game will be replayed
• Players are required to contact their opponent and schedule a time to play their match before the match deadline
• If your opponent does not respond to schedule the match, or does not show up for the match or does not try to reschedule, this counts as a forfeit loss for them, you report a win
REPORTING:
• Only the winner is required to submit match results
• There are two ways to submit match results. Sending a PM bluejet24 via SE forums or posting the result in this thread.
(Here is an example of what to send - "Bob123 Win vs. *player name* 2-1")
• Any other match disputes or concerns should be send via PM to bluejet24 via SE forums
• Pairings will be posted in the picture of brackets (see next post)
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:
• SIGNUPS – NOW until OCTOBER 7, 11:59 PM EST
• TOURNAMENT BEGINS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8, 1:00 AM EST
• ROUND 1: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8, 1:00 AM EST
• ROUND 2: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2:00 AM EST
• ROUND 3 (FINALS): SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8, 3:00 AM EST
PRIZES:
1st Place: 500 Shadow Crystals*
2nd Place: 300 Shadow Crystals*
3rd and 4th Place: 100 Shadow Crystals*
* Prizes will NOT be awarded if a player does not respond to schedule the match, does not show up for the match or does not try to reschedule, this counts as a forfeit loss for them and will NOT be award Shadow Crystals.
