But, tell me why you don't play Now You'r Mine? I mean, it really helps surviving many decks... I know there's Evil Ascendant, but it's kinda slow, also doesn't help you against Gargoyles and Bad Wolves...

Also, are Bad Santas really that "must have"? And bazaar too... Because, in many many plays you really can't mill the opponent... So, maybe adding another good weapon or armor...

Was thinking of adding Urgent Business, against some weapon based decks too... What do you think about it... Yes, in many ways it's a fail card in the end...

Also, against "unbeatable" decks, by Darkclaw, the problem's always the ability of the opponent's hero, so maybe using Drain Power in the right time, can help you...

Fangs of the Predator, in some way speeds the game, and battle against some heroes... It's 1 more DMG at default and 2 more DMG with Darkclaw's ability, and I find at a really good card for Darkclaw, removing 2 Bad Santa's and all Bazaar's, and adding 4 of these...

Still, Darkclaw is pretty nerfed, and it needs something to boost his DMG, I mean, damn Hunter deals 4 DMG with his damn bow, why the Darkclaw for the hell of sake couldn't...

Darkclaw's ability is faster now, that's true, but, it can't survive with less of ("opponent allies and heroes can't attack until next turn OR no damage is dealt to your hero until next turn...") cards...

Silver of Shadow, maybe better then Fangs, only Human's Smashing Blow can kill it, and Rouge's... It's cost is 3, damage is 2, which gives you at least one turn 4 damage...

Yes, it's hard to make Darkclaw better now... I hope we'll see some good cards in next block of Shadow Era!

to answer some of your questions, at least from my personal experience:

not that Now You Are Mine isn't good, it's just there are other better card options for a deck with limited space. just use captured prey on gargoyles. as for bad wolf, a dark ascendant nullifies his regen, so after a few attacks you can pick him off as well, or attack him when full moon is on.

bad santa and bazaar are very helpful. while your opponent can keep attacking creatures, you will need the rain delays or shadow fonts to survive, meaning while your opponent wouldn't need constant cards, you would.

also bad santa serves as a nuke when ur opponent is out of deck and you want to eliminate him ASAP. i've done it several times.

really cool decks. ive been playing both of them lately and you're right, sometimes you can get screwed horribly by a bad hand. like i went though most of the darkclaw deck until i had 17 cards till i finally got a speed strike, horrid luck. sometimes the same thing happens to me with lone wolf

and sacrificing can be painful, you know that most of these cards are going to be necessary late game.

but i like how darkclaw can deal out more damage now with his 3 SE ability.

I am liking the new darkclaw as well. And yes, I agree with the earlier poster that luck can be a bitch. Sometimes, the opponent throws out a snow sapphire, and your ley line nexus is buried near the bottom of your deck. Or you don't draw that regen to counter engulfing flames, or your lone wolf doesn't turn up early enough...it really is reliant on a fairly large combination of key cards to pull off.

It seems to do fairly well against eladwen, but that's probably because she can no longer bomb you with her special ability. Interesting sight, her building up to 10 SE with no way of spending it.

I find that sometimes, it can be difficult to make a judgement call as to whether I should go straight for the kill (and rely on cards like rain delay and full moon to hold off his allies), or play it safe and slowly whittle away his army?
