T2 Puwen

So many of you will have had this situation.

You're playing 2nd.
Your opponent plays a T2 Puwen (no 1 drop)
You have Puwen in hand (no 1 drop)

Do you play T2 Puwen? (threat of T3 Aldon/Banner and now Krist)

Does your decision change if you are playing against Hunter or Warrior (access to War Banner)?

It's all too similar to the Blake/Aldon combo in 1.25/1.26.

I'll reserved my views for now. Let's see what the others have to say.

Keeping it your hand likely won't help you much. So now you are stuck playing nothing and they play more allies. On the other hand, if you play it and they don't have aldon/banner/kris, you are on much better footing. My 2 cents but I am not a great player so I might be wrong.

Yeah, I hate that situation. I think it depnds on your decks strategy aand what else is in your hand. If you have nothing better to do and no fattys you're saving up for, you might as well play it. I dont think you can pplay assuming they always have an answer for you so don't bother trying- you have to try, make them work for it. For me, if I had several things in my hand I really wanted, id probly hold puwen and sac it next turn- otherwise id probably play it.

It depends on cards on hand. If I am playing Jericho, I won't cast it.

Sorry for hijacking, but what if you had to choose between a puwen or blood frenzy. Is it always better to play BF first regardless?

I always cast the puwen.

It distracts some damage from hero at the very least

I agree with GS. He is a meatshield if aldon or the others came up. If not i summon my aldon :P
