Won't see much use in its current form imo. The drawback is way too much. The only moment you can play it is as a last measure before you die, or when you just used your hero's ability.

Problem is, that timeframe is so small, it won't do any good.

If you need to use it as a last measurement, there is something wrong with your deck in the first place.

Change to: Opposing hero loses 2 Shadow Energy.
    Problem solved.

I haven't spent enough time to properly assess the new cards in v1.27, so I haven't even tried out these new cards much.

But if the current card isn't work, what about 3 for 3? Or take away 2 Shadow Energy for 2 instead? Both heroes would lose 3 or 2, in this case.

Instead of a very conditional 2:0 se advantage you'd get a reliable 2:1 advantage while it still wouldn't be an easy card to time and play. Plus it'd qualify as human's counter to shadow's Shadow Font spam (at least against shadow heroes with 4+ ability cost).

My cards ideas: for mages, for others

Songs about Wulven by: TV on the Radio, Babel, Warren Zevon

However much one kind of longs to see the actors in war outdo each other in cunning activity, finesse, and stratagem, still one has to admit that these qualities show themselves but little in history and have rarely been able to emerge from amongst the mass of relations and circumstances.
The reason for this is obvious enough: Strategy knows no other activity than the arrangement of combats with the measures which relate to it. It doesn't know, like ordinary life, actions that consist of mere words, i.e. expressions, declarations, etc. But these, which are inexpensive, are what the crafty one prefers to deceive with.
This sober truth is always felt through and through by the actor in war and therefore he ceases to fancy a game of shrewd agility. Necessity presses so hard into immediate action that there is no room left for it. In a word, the pieces on the strategical chessboard lack the mobility that is the element of stratagem and cunning. - CvC, On War

    Niche concept.
I don't see how it can feat in a human deck, nor why.

One of the most beutiful cards up to date! Brilliant.

Unfortunately it is rather useless in its current form.

well, idk. i can see it as a nice counter to priests as they are now. think about it. most priests done have much shadow energy as they are always using it for wizent's staff. if timed well, it'll let you get a good turn or two from a blood frenzy, and throw off their stall strategy.

i agree though that it will not be an easy card to use, and more of a niche card to include in most decks, but it can help once in a million years. i would rather it be a cost 2, and have the same effect. 3 is a good idea, but if you think about it, your opponent is going to get shadow energy on their next turn anyways, so you lost 2 and they lose 1. that is not worth 3 cost. it will only ever stall them for one turn from using their ability.
