    Advantages, comparisons, experiences, ect. . . .

What compelling reasons would you give for switching devices?

It would always be iPad if the updates came to iOS in a timely fashion. At the moment, it's via Chrome Browser :-(

You know you're a PC guy when.. you refer to a Mac as an "Apple computer".

@GondorianDotCom You should use one of the computer clients. v1.27 on PC is much more stable than v1.26; Mac version should be the same.

What is really the advantage of using the PC client as opposed to the web version? The only differences I could ever tell is that the downloadable client is a bigger res, which doesn't really matter since the game is designed to be playable on 3.5" screens anyhow, and the client doesn't auto-update itself like the web version.

iPod touch.. Not really an option, but I chose the most obvious alternative

iPhone/iTouch/iPad when on the go especially during the commute (provided there is WIFI available, otherwise, playing offline) or if I don't have any stuff to do on my notebook that the tablets couldn't do. I know android is out there too, but most of my apps are tied to apple's store, no matter how much I'd like to switch, I can't do it. I'm guessing it would be almost the same experience playing with these mobile apps.

When at home, I use the client(Windows) for my main account and the browser (FF/Chrome) for test server, that way, I don't have to keep on inputting my user info all the time in one client. I noticed that it's faster on the client (running game at FAST setting) than on the browser and it also prevents me from accidentally closing the SE tab!

@NinjaDucky Yeah, pretty much only for the hi-res. Also, if you go into full-screen, it doesn't stretch it like on the browser version. Browser version is the most stable of them all though, so if you want to build up your rating, that's the way to go.
