I suppose it depends on your interpretation of the words "few" and "couple". I assumed you meant 4 or 5 max.

I did and it was just to get a feel for things, which I think you will get even after 4 or 5 games.
But if you're going to bring in statistics you have to be precise about everything, no room for assumptions!
(I'm a scientist by trade--don't get me going on statistics, haha.)

I've seen n3rd and he-man do amazing stuff with Gwen/NP/bows on t4 to t7.

I've an in depth post on NP somewhere. I'll try to dig it out.

Essentially, the having 2 extra cards due to NP is good. What's even better is the REMOVAL of cards from your opponent's hand. That can swing games.

Exactly! At the point where you play NP, your opponent is very often holding just 3 or so cards, 1 or 2 of which are usually important pieces for him/her to win the game--a King's Pride, Plasma Behemoth, etc. So if you take one of those pieces from their hand, you completely cripple their game plan, and you usually just have to sail out a few more turns to win the game.
