    1.27 BlastWorms

    Hello everyone, I'm pretty new to this game, started playing a few weeks back and this is my first forumpost.
    Been moving to 190+ rating with my tweaked Gravebone deck, wich seems to eat anything it looks at atm.

    So, getting bored of the same deck, I'm looking at the new cards, and thought it would be viable to make a 40 card deck based on sandworms and global annihilation (named the deck "BlastWorms") Goes like this:

    Nishaven
    3 x blake
    3 x jasmine
    1 x aldon
    4 x sandworm
    4 x marshlands
    4 x fireball
    4 x supernova
    4 x retreat!
    4 x reinforced armor
    4 x lightning strike
    4 x campfire stories
    1 x bad santa

    Think this would be a pretty viable try to base a deck on the sandworms, wich looks to be incredible hard to get rid of...
    any thoughts?

    Thanks for sharing this. What is your ideal opening? What do you play turns 1-5?

    p.s. Nice use of Campfire Stories. I assume it is for the worms.

    I'm using the Sandworms a lot lately too.

    Some questions for this deck:

    - Why only 1 aldon, I would use at least 3 of them, and use less Jasmine or Marshlands. Sandworm don't have a very high attack, if you play against a priest and they play plague, or against a lot of Gargoyles or other Sandworms, the attack of the sandworms become kind of useless.. With aldon they become a lot more usefull

    - No research? I think your buying capabilities are a little to low. Only 1 bad santa and the Campfire Stories, thats not enough, or use more Bad Santa or put some research in this deck.

    Over all, nice idea for a deck, but it still needs some tweaks.

    Ideal would be:
    T1: sac
    T2: blake
    T3: 2cc/3cc/fireball/bad santa/retreat (depending on draw/enemy play)
    T4: 2cc/3cc/4cc/fireball/bad santa/retreat (depending on draw/enemy play)
    T5: plasmablast + sandworm
    T6: armor/another sandworm - all depending on enemy plays

    Agreed this need some tweaking. Was thinking of adding some Extra Sharps, but the idea is to get boardcontrol with sandworms and low cc's and combine with fireballs/lightnings. But yes, I'm also a bit concerned over the draw capabilitys of this deck. Could do something like:

    Nishaven
    3 x blake
    2 x jasmine
    3 x aldon
    4 x sandworm
    4 x fireball
    4 x supernova
    3 x retreat!
    2 x research
    4 x reinforced armor
    4 x lightning strike
    4 x campfire stories
    2 x bad santa

    Anyways, getting to T5 and above relatively safe is the key with this deck. Yes plague sucks, but again, I dont encounter that many priest decks, so basing your deck upon a single card from a single (and rare) enemy would be rather... stupid

    forgot your PS. here m8.. sorry.. short answer is "yes" - they are bound to take "some" damage - but ofc. it's also for draw, or early game viable options to play.

    Drop Blake. He dies too easily to Flayer, Death Mage, Jewellers Dream, Staff, Fire Snake, Brutalis. Add Puwen.

    Edit: 4 Supernova are not needed since you have the Nish blast. Replace one with Arcane Burst which helps pick off stubborn high HP allies.

    Also, Reinforced Armor is nice but not worth the slot. Swap for Bad Santa and Research.

    Correction: drop 4 armor, add 2 aldon, drop 1 bs, add 3 research.

    already added some research, but reinforced armor is easy worth the slot - either its instant sacrifice or instant use
