The new cards don't work on IPad you need to wait for the patch, comming next week, or next next week, depending of where you live.

some of the cards on my ipad are covered in a blue haze and some others don't show any card art like its just showing me the back of the card "blue and says shadow era"

What version does it say under the web window? 1.277 is what it should say.

The cards blued out will be fine when the next patch will come (soon).

Now you can sell all the cards you have more than x4, keep only 4 of every cards. And buy elementals starter deck, sell all the cards and buy those which aren't x4. And you will have what you need to build what you want.

web version at bottom of windows says current status: v1.277 is that ok?

The cards with artwork but blue tint are those that aren't legal with your current hero. When you change heroes, you can use different cards. Time to read those New Player threads, I think.
