Sounds interesting, but my only concern (without testing) is that he will be used so late in the game he will never actually gain much attack before one of the heroes is killed.

    Very flavorful.

If he can stay on the board he should hit 3/9 (or at least 2/8) by the turn after he's cast-- unless sacrifice doesn't count as destroy.

Fun to sacrifice rain delays and bloodthirsts to.

Very nice! Finally a card that will make it worth to build a deck around!

-will it be possible to sac Ogloth to itself to destroy something?
-will it be possible to activate the sac/destroy ability multiple times a turn?
-perhaps consider making him 0/5 for 5cc (unless some new cards are coming that will allow us to manipulate the number of resources, or that will make it possible to sneak fatties into play quickly...)

In SE terms, sacrifice is a destruction effect that can only target your own cards. So yep, +2 to stats each time you use his ability.

Destroy any card in play? Yikes!

This dude will be awesome through a Portal. Especially on last turn of that Portal since he can kill any card (eg Aeon) when he enters play by saccing the Portal and become 1/7 and attack too.

Love the idea! I doubt you can use his ability more than once per turn tho -- would be ridiculous the turn after you cast him.

Question: is a Resource a card in play? In other words, can I sac a land to use his ability?

I too think I'd rather see him earlier than later -- maybe 0/5 for 5 and the activation costs 2 or 3? Looks like Calmdown didn't leave Shadow high and dry after all for item destruction Bye bye Shriek, hello hungry guy!

You don't want him to cost 5...that way Boris could destroy him with his ability

I hope he won't be too powerful...he is way better than Aeon (saccing Rain Delay so that it only lasts during your opponent's turn? Oh, yeah!) and with Gravebone, 1.26 Majiya or Ter Adun (Blood Frenzy to draw enough Snakes, Flayer etc to feed him) he will be awesome.

So good Hellsteed and Shriek get nerved, otherwise Shadow would be far superior to Human...
