Why we choose Wulven....

A random list of all the great things about being a Wulven hero:


Putting in dentures to damage your opponents...1 dmg at a time

Regenerating health to annoy your opponent, now forced to stay the extra 10min to finish you off

Waiting out small decks so that draw burn does the killing for you (or to annoy your opponent if you can't kill him off)

Aeon making 8 of the 12 cards you have to "manage" allies useless

A short match is 30min long

A win is a surprise

Having only one wulven ally

Having crippling blow deny you of Lone Wolf's effect

Only being able to use a jewelled sword and nothing else (including the supposed teeth and claws you have) while using it..."I guess I'll just rip out my...teeth....there...now I can use Jeweller's Dream"!...???

Having no direct damage

The joy of facing down a small legion of creatures after exhausting your Rabid Bites and knowing in about 15min you are dead

The joy of having a noob mage hero use 3 Fireballs on you when Full Moon is in play wondering why you are not taking damage

Having no game changing card

Having a max permanent rating in the 160 range

Being targeted by Mugged when your activated ability states you can't be targeted lol

Being more likely to win the lottery than play another Wulven hero

Using Bad Santa as a direct damage card

Speedstike doing nothing when defending (I thought I was faster?)

Having your best card nerfed (Rabid Bite) in Ver 1.27 when you already lose at least 60% of the time

Being able to kill opponents without ever brining out a creature

Being able to avoid attacks until your opponent leaves the game

Being down to 1-5 health and defeating a Zaladar, Gwen or Majiya hero accompanied by an "OMG" from the defeated opponent (like you were supposed to lose in the first place)

Levelling up 16, 24 or 50XP at a time lol

Knowing your deck has no specific formula for victory, other than stay alive

Defeating Jericho will make your day regardless of the losses you've racked up

And finally....even though things might get worse before they get better, they will get better. After all Kyle has a Wulven card as his Avatar and Wulven Studios makes Shadow Era right?.....right?

As I've said to He-Man recently I am one stubborn old coot for playing Wulven as long as I have and not throwing my monitor at Calmdown or through the window What can I say, nerves of steel Seriously, though, I disagree about the rating. I managed to get my ally Darkclaw deck all the way to 236 (!) then my incessant need to experiment took over and I went down to 212. One thing I've learned in all these months playing Wulven (playing since 1.24) is that complaining about Wulven is anything but productive. You'll get the same response from the rest of the forum goers: you'll get new cards, it will get better, etc. so I decided to take a different route this time and post some ideas for Wulven cards. Most are not good, but maybe someone could shape them into something better. As for Wulven heroes, as I've said numerous times before, implement the changes to them in 1.27 instead of waiting for 1.28 or 1.29. That is going to help Wulven more than any card would (except for a good draw engine). So, don't let it get to you and instead do like I do: play some other game while waiting for the Wulven to get fixed.
