I think what Giskard meant to say was play with Snow Sapphire.

Either that, or do what I did.. Buy 4 Soul Seekers, build a Gwen deck, and learn it's vulnerabilities/counters from other ppl.
    (420) Target ally is stoned and cannot be productive today.

    Nerf phasetwist!

It's impossible to counter him, he didn't even read the many antigwen strategies on forum!

AAAAAAAUGH! I want a refund, I can't deal with the totally overpowered phasetwist!

Funny responses, but I can empathize with the OP. I lost to Gwen today with Eldawen, running a hybrid magic/ally deck. Went toe to toe with them until the end, when they had the 2x attack card + soul seeker combo. Hard to counter in the position I was in. Looking back at my notes, my mistake was in sac'ing my Snow Sapphire, even though it popped into my deck at around turn seven. When I gave up the fight with 1 HP the opponent had 5 HP. Snow Sapphire would have made the difference, I'm sure of it. It certainly seems overpowered, but it can be countered. Don't give up, just keep learning, you'll get it. (Yes, I'm an eternal optimist.)

I played two Gwen's the other day with my Ter Adun deck. I was getting crushed until I got King's Pride out. I won both games.

    NERF KING'S PRIDE!!!

Snow Sapphire is an obvious must, but enough about that. The healing (as we all know) only triggers on allies killed by Soul Seeker. If you're ally heavy, focus on putting pressure on the Soul Seeker with multiple attacks a turn to wear it down... (avoid using blakes for this) it's much harder for Gwen to kill on defense. Later on drop SS. If you are ally light, resource unnesseary allies mid-late-game, drop SS and burn her out. Use supernovas wisely. Raven + Aeon + Retreat is nice lategame as always.
